Was the Air Force One Flyover a Warning to Obama?
The only thing I have read about this strange event that asked the right question was on wsws.org, one of my favorite sites. Alex Lantier wrote on April 29:
How could one of two specially-designed presidential jets be requisitioned for a flight over New York City, where nearly 3,000 were killed in the 9/11 attacks, without the knowledge of the president, the mayor or high-ranking US military officials such as the defense secretary and the joint chiefs of staff? If the official story is indeed true, it raises the question of who is in control of the US military.
The White House internal review published a week later, I think, answers the question: the US military is in control of the US military.

An insightful article, filling in some gaps I had w.r.t. to this event.
May I offer a third possibility that just crossed my mind:
- Obama fiats the photo-op
- The military, under Gates, the Iran-Contra man, seizes upon the opportunity by modifying the plan to not inform the New York public, knowing full well panic would ensue.
- After the incident, realizing the set up, it is agreed with Caldera that he will assume responsibility and Obama will denounce the 'blunder'.
Strange things happened at Bloomberg's office as well though. How on earth did the news reach the mayor's staff but not the mayor himself?
Obama could also be responsible the old-fashioned way, in concert with the NSC. He'd have to be willing and capable of inflicting this kind of PR damage unto himself for a psychological terror operation. Certainly the lack of heads rolling is suspect.
If we are to believe some of the White House comments though, this is a rogue USAF at work. None of the options are positive.

that the much publicized NYC training drills at the WTC comes after this - unforeseen effects - of a 747 flyover (buzz the towers and two trailing fighter jets smacks of too much "coincidence theory."

Let's remember
that President Bush was literally held prisoner aboard Air Force One while Cheney directed the 9-11 show from the bunker under the White House. Bush requested to return to Washington, but the "Secret Service" would not permit it. Then he was told that someone with top secret information was part of the 9-11 plot, and was ready to blow his plane out of the sky. So it looks like military rule has been in place for quite a while. The self-inflicted wound of the Pentagon on 9-11 is also a dead giveaway.

Thanks for the comments. I also submitted this to OpEdNews, but it hasn't appeared there, and they have not answered my queries.
The article I wrote before that, "9/11 Aletheia," was published on OpEd but 911blogger rejected it.
I would like to know what is going on here. Do 911blogger and OpEdNews have some sort of agreement not to duplicate each other's publications? I don't think so, because there is a lot of duplication in other cases.
