The "politicians" (that's really the nicest word I can think of... I can think of SO MANY words that are not nice) in this country DO NOT speak for the people. At the very least, they do not speak for me. You DO NOT have my permission to continue what you're doing in the Gaza Strip, and you DO NOT have my permission to send in ground troops.

Ironic
A few short generations ago Jews all across Europe were mistreated and forced to live in ghettos. Then came WW2 and the horrific, unspeakable holocaust. Today they seem to be treating the Palestinians in the same way within the borders of the land that was created for them after WW2.
Was no lesson learned about human suffering and compassion?

As a citizen of this country (USA) I do not give permission to my government to support the Israel Government's
current military actions in Gaza. Why do I say this? Just look at the destruction and deaths that are happening in Gaza compared to what's happening in Israel. These people (Palestinians) are being systematically destroyed and the Israel Govt. has been doing it for a long time. The time has come to demonstrate that "We The People' in all nations(and that includes Israel) to say enough is enough to all of our govt. & military heads with all these political and religious wars and have a spirtitual awakening to a real "Peace On Earth".
Protests across USA
Myself and a few Cincinnati911truth and WAC Ohio were part of a much larger demonstration at downtown Cincinnati's Fountain Square this afternoon for two hours. I was heartened; I was expecting nowhere near this many people - probably close to 400. Given what a right-wing and "sheeple" city Cincy is.
If it's like this in Cincy, imagine the real major cities.
Of course, none of the local news in Cincy covered this event. Better to talk about Sarah Palin's new grandson.
