Don't succumb to the invitations by Glen Beck and others, including agent provaceteurs in the truth and freedom movements to get violent in our actions.
people will wake up.
it might take them losing their 401K's or whatever but eventually when they have nothing left to protect or somewhere between now and that point they will wake up.
perhaps our greatest contribution will be seen by historians as that we led the way in a peaceful fashion.
consider this...
the people that have not woken up by this point are less enlightened individuals.
when they do wake up, these same people will have not only their ire against the counter efforts and the sources of these counter efforts towards their survival but also the guilt of not having acted sooner.
these same people will also be woken up rather abruptly and you know that is not good for maintaining an even temper.
so the more that we expand in influence the more responsibility that we have to set a good example in a Ghandi-like, MLK-like fashion.
BECAUSE IF ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE INTO VIOLENT REBELLION THEN THE POWERS THAT BE WILL BE ABLE TO CONSTITUTIONALLY DECLARE MARTIAL LAW AND SUSPEND HABEAS CORPUS....
They are trying to do this now... incite violent rebellion while the 1st Infrantry troops are already on the ground in the USA.
Isn't it ironic that they are also trying to wake up people to revolt and are also having trouble with the vast majority of the people just as we are?
So keep this in mind, good people.
God may or may not be watching us...
but we should be responsible enough to look after each other and keep all our activities lawful, peaceful and representative of the more laudable characteristics of human nature
And this may be our greatest contribution when all is said and done.
Let it be so.

Violence Solves Nothing
I too am disturbed to hear people romanticizing about how heroic such a revolution would be.
In reality, what usually results are a bunch of dead and wounded people and, only if you are very lucky, some positive political change. It can easily backfire and you can end up with a dictator, as happened with Franco in Spain.
The American people have far more power than they have ever realized. How about a general strike? How about an encampment of a million people at the Capitol or Pentagon, as Martin King was trying to do? All of this can be done nonviolently.
If the public does not understand 9/11, or Oklahoma City, or the scam of the two '9/11 Wars', perhaps they will understand more about this 'controlled demolition' of the economy as it starts to hurt them. And then they can exercise the power that they have, nonviolently.
It's our responsibility to wake them up.
