In 1977 the family of Martin Luther King engaged an attorney and friend, Dr. William Pepper, to investigate a suspicion they had. They no longer believed that James Earl Ray was the killer. For their peace of mind, for an accurate record of history, and out of a sense of justice they conducted a two decade long investigation. The evidence they uncovered was put before a jury in Memphis, TN, in November 1999. 70 witnesses testified under oath, 4,000 pages of transcripts described that evidence, much of it new. The Real Deal.
This is the real deal friends. This is exactly what we've been waiting for. There is no doubt that he can bust the dam wide open if he can get on the top ten lists and on the talk shows. From reading the book personally and listening to this interview with our boy Jon, it is obvious he has done his research and has the courage and the ability to clearly and calmly articulate the facts and his point of view.
I believe I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It would be easy to dismiss his suggestion about buying and promoting his book helping the cause, as a cynical attempt on his part to sell books and make money, but I'm willing to take that chance (I respect everyones right to make an honest buck especially while helping humanity.)
I am reading the book now and am impressed not so much by his story telling, although that's good, as by his knowledge of the facts about the great tragedy of our lives.
I truly hope everyone agrees that Steve Alten is an important messenger for getting the story to the uninformed masses, and helps to promote the hell out of this book.

I bought my two copies before it was even published
through Amazon. But here is my question -- since we can't verify elections, how does one verify whether or not a book is in fact selling the requisite number of copies to occupy the top 10? We're lied to about everything -- why not this too? Especially given the potential ramifications.

I guess we have to rely on the free market. Book sellers are in business for one reason only, and that is to increase revenue. Just like any other retailer, booksellers are always looking for that blockbuster and will use every tool in their selling arsenal to push it to #1. Content is of no consequence.
This is where we come in. Be creative. Take a book off the back shelf and put it with the best sellers. Talk to store managers, encourage them to stock more books in prominent positions. Buy as many copies as you can afford and give them to friends with the recommendation to pass them on. Carry 9/11 Truth signs outside the bookstore along with a copies of the book. I know I'm sounding like Bill Douglas here:0 (Glad to see you vindicated Bill.)
I'm in sales and my support staff jokingly call out "sell, sell, sell" often when I head out on the road. That's what we need to do. Consider is our "Mission from God," ala Jake and Elwood Blues.

This is a very compelling interview- particularly for us activists!!! I hope Steve is able to break the dam!!!! I do hope Steve Alten will consider for a potential next project a Non-Fiction book portraying the Plight of the Family Members & 1st Responders in search of Truth and Justice.
Such a book (well written) has the potential to reach out to the most hardened of skeptics to understand the importance of a New Independent Investigation.
It will make a significant impact because of its genuine impact.
Shell Game itself definitely has its own unique niche market enabling us to reach out to those still unaware of the facts behind 911.
It is a useful tool to add to the library / myriad of other tools or books that we have.
I did have my reservations in the past over suspicions of the "Commercialization of 911 Truth" over this and Apologize to anyone I may have offended.

I agree wholeheartedly Constitution911 but I believe that a large portion of readers will never pick up a book of non-fiction. I'm sure there are better educated people than me who can explain the reason but I suspect it has something to do with the use of parables and fables as tools in our education going all the way back to classical times. (But that's a whole 'nother topic.)

It is heavily weighted on the fiction side. That's why I believe this book has the ability to reach more people than a non-fiction.
BTW. I recommend everyone join Library Thing and other similar library services post your reviews everywhere and create a buzz.

Fiction, Parables , Satire are powerful mediums to reach people in subtle ways. They have their niche.
We can have the best of both worlds.
Why I still stress Non-Fiction for a Biography of the Plight of the Family Members and 1st Responders is because it can provide a personal touch like no other.
We have it in Audio-Visual Form in Documentaries like 911 Press for Truth.
However, books have a way of reaching out to masses long after the TV's and Computers are turned off.
The real story of what the Family Members and 1st Responders are going through has yet to be told.
The Jersey Girls have spoken.
Will someone help give voice to the rest of the Family Members / 1st Responders in a Written Form?
I wish I could do it. But it is not my calling / forte. I feel there are people out there far more qualified / experienced than me to do it.

Wow! It was a compelling interview of Steve Alten. Nice job, Jon! It was very interesting to see the influence Ruppert has had on Alten. I knew Alten said his book grew out of the fact of Peak Oil but very interesting how the novel came about and his heavy interest in Ruppert's "Crossing the Rubicon".
I'm not much of a fiction reader--but I'm finally sold! Alten made a strong argument for supporting his book. It's also a nice job of putting the link to Cusack up.. It's a pretty darn informative thread!
By the way, what's happend to Marr? He doesn't even sound like the same person from years ago? He's obviously sold out! "If people really cared they'd care to find out." Marr didn't seem to have any good responses to what Cusack was relating? Wow, what a shill--and not a good one at that!

I am very impressed by Steve Alten. My husband has read the book and raved about how good it was. I do plan on reading the book myself and also plan to buy several copies to give friends. I heard an interview with Steve Alten on a radio show where the show host appeared ignorant about many facts concerning 9/11. Mr. Alten showed tremendous courage speaking on this show, not only with the host but also with people who called in, people who sounded as if they listened only to what is spoken on mainstream media. I thought that Mr. Alten was calm and level-headed answering questions and in presenting his book. I feel he is a wonderful asset to break into mainstream media, not only in his demeanor but also in how attractive he is. Appearance does help tremendously and he definitely has the looks to get attention. So, all in all, take his courage, his knowledge about 9/11, his calm demeanor, and his attractiveness, and you have one incredible asset for 9/11 truth. Buy his book, people.

Excellent book- we must tell everyone about false flag attacks
I read the Shell Game.
The main point to me was this is a perfect book to show people how the govt could pull off a nuclear false flag attack and blame it on anyone they want.
The book shows clearly that a few criminals in the govt could train, protect, control and help unknowing patsies into pulling off a nuclear false flag attack for the governments own gain. The book also shows how the mass media can make white look like black AND the lie as the truth AND our friends as our deadly enemies AND patsies as intelligent perps AND falsified evidence as the truth AND the real perps look as saviors AND the innocent look like the devil. We cannot overestimate the convincing power of the mass media cartel.
The mass media cartel is one of the main weapons in the false flag attack because it propagates the big lie which the human race is so susceptible to.
Now is the time to tell everyone you know about false flag attacks and the mass media cartel's part in them.
There is ten thousand times more leverage educating people NOW TODAY about false flags BEFORE the next false flag occurs compared to afterward trying to convince them and de-propagandize them from the mass media lies and the mass terrorism hysteria caused by a NUCLEAR false flag. This book EMPHASIZES the URGENCY and DESPERATENESS of making the history of FALSE FLAG ATTACKS common knowledge to everyone on the planet.
For the very survival of our nation and world we need to educate everyone we know about past false flags and educate them about the government/secret rulers using them again in the future.
