Boston 9/11 Truth - How to Build a Tea Crate

"Get ye to Boston on the 15th and 16th of December, 2007!"

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Boston 9/11 Truth is proud to present two days of 911 truth activism at this year’s Boston Tea Party and Conference for 9/11 Truth, to be held Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16, 2007. This year’s theme, “Scientists and Citizens Speak Out,” reinforces our commitment to the broadest exposure possible of the scientific, criminal and political issues being covered-up and/or ignored by our government and the media concerning the events of September 11, 2001.

Now folks watch very closely at Dubyas reaction.

Notes on building crates:

The lath strips can be glued on (then no backing will be needed).

If you do choose to use screws, you probably will want to pre-drill holes to avoid splitting the thin lath.

There are spray sealers you can use to increase water resistance (not terribly green, but oh well, we need to save the country before we have any chance of saving the planet, anyway)

I hope to see the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act and our new favorite, H.R. 1955 The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 being thrown into bodies of water all over America, as well.

Let's make 2008 the year of Truth in America and give it a grand, fun kick-off at the Tea Parties on December 16th!

Time to get busy, brothers and sisters!

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

the spirit is great

the spirit of this idea is great. i applaud that. however, how is it made sure to get noticed per all the work required?

Our Tea Party in SF last year got reported on the news twice,

at 5:30 and 11pm.

The coverage was straight-up, like any other news story. TV is a visual medium, so you have to create a visually pleasing event that makes for good tv while communicating your message.

The Boston Tea Party is part of the core American mythology and epitomizes patriotism, The Tea Party is ideal for this and all of us should try to make our own Tea Parties in as many locations as possible.

It's also serious BIG FUN, and we need more of that while doing the hard work that is everyday street activism.

To get noticed you have to work the media, with relentless civility.

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

Other coverage

The Boston event also merited quite a large photo in the Sunday Globe that came out the following day.
