Americans Who Tell the Truth is a non-partisan series of portraits of past and current Americans which form a travelling exhibit(s) that is hosted by schools, universities, churches, and various community groups around the country. Cynthia McKinney is included as one of the portraits, and Richard Gage, Steven Jones, and David Ray Griffin are on the list of future possibilities. I don't know if you are planning to add more portraits to the Americans Who Tell The Truth collection, but if you are, please allow me to make a recommendation. Given that you began painting this series of portraits as a way to channel your anger and grief in the wake of the September 11th attacks, I would like to recommend a person who is attempting to tell the truth about what happened that day, Mr. Richard Gage. Gage is a member of the American Institute of Architects and founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (www.ae911truth.org). Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth is an organization which has a membership of over 200 architectural and engineering professionals who have questioned the truthfulness of the official 9/11 story and who are demanding of Congress a truly independent investigation into the 9/11 attacks. Richard Gage represents someone who is seeking the ultimate truth, a truth which is challenging the greatest lie of our generation but which has not yet reached mainstream consciousness. Mr. Shetterly, will you consider a portrait of Richard Gage? Thank you for your time.

Thank you very much for writing.I am still painting portraits.
Right now I'm working on several activists from West Virginia who are trying to stop mountaintop removal there. It's covered up a fashion similar to 9/11.
I know that I'm missing a 9/11 truth teller. Although I did just paint Cynthia McKinney.
I was thinking of Steven Jones. Do you think Richard Gage is better? Or David Ray Griffin?
In a way it doesn't matter --- as long as I put the message out from a credible person.
