I've been wondering Griffin's reaction to Zeitgeist myself... not to mention some new material i've uncovered indicating that the same international bankers behind 9/11 have also been heavily funding the environmental movement from its inception, the idea being that they want to use global warming to scare everyone into further relinquishing personal rights while also increasing support for an international governing body. The science of global warming is much more complicated than with 9/11, but that financial backing alone should be enough to give us all pause. Especially Griffin, considering he finished "Debunking 9/11 Debunking" (which I adore, don't get me wrong) by arguing that the real tragedy of 9/11 is that it has distracted mankind from the coming ecological crisis.

is probably to agree with most of it as the Archaeological evidence is what it is, but when what you "believe" is based solely on "faith" anyway it really makes no difference.
Same with such loons as Young Earth Creationist, all the overwhelming evidence in the world makes no difference at all.
Same with Steven Jones he "believes" his little invisible friend visited North America 2000 years ago along with a full posse of Egyptians, this is of course ridiculous and basically insane but when talking about "religion" any crazy ass belief is to be given credence simply because it is protected by the moniker of religion.
Zeitgeist is a good movie because it shows how gullible human beings are and how they can be so easily fooled to believe anything no matter how crazy and without a single shred of evidence.
As far as Global Warming the scientific evidence is pretty overwhelming, the fact that a bunch of Reich wing loons might get involved in it simply means they see profit in it because we as a planet really have no choice.

He (Sun) dies (stops moving south) on Dec 22 then "rises again, born again 3 days later" (starts moving upward again) on Dec 25th (Winter Solstice). DOH!
He (SUN) had that magic number of "12 Disciples" also known as the Zodiac.
He "Jesus" the (SUN) "Is the light of the world" woot even spelled it out for them there.
He "Jesus" the (SUN) ""cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him."
The sun rising in the morning is the "Savior of mankind."
The (SUN) wears a corona, "crown of thorns" or "halo"
The (SUN) "walks on water" the reflection on water as the sun sets appears to walk on water.
The (SUN) at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High"; thus, "he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.
The (SUN) enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30°; hence, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30 and magically last one cycle of the SUN , a year.
It just goes on and on with very clear references to astrological signs, sun cycles, zodiac/constellation references etc.
Here is an excerpt explaining the Virgo (Mary the Virgin) Bethlehem part of the story.

These are all well known archaeological & astrological facts yet all are completely ignored and the lunacy of religious belief marches on.
And we wonder how seemingly intelligent people fall for the utterly ridiculous and physically impossible Official Conspiracy Theory? one needs only to look at religious belief to get that question answered in spades. Which is why Zeitgeist starts with religion as part one.

I think this was a great idea. As an atheist I don't have any problems with it of course. I have for a long time known that the Jesus is a mythical/literary figure. The problem is the American audience, the most Christian people on the planet. Are they really able to swallow both pills?
I loved the first part. It was completly new information to me. I have never seen this astrological approach made in such a systematic way. It is pure dynamite!
Well when my cat
wont swallow his pills, I hold his head spread his mouth open a bit and shove it down his throat.
I'm thinking that might work with Christians also, someone somehow needs to slap them out of their delusional fantasy land at some point.
The survival of the human race could actually depend on it one day, people in the 21st century should not be thinking like savages with a bronze age world view.
That just can not be a good thing no matter how you try to spin it.

To swallow both pills......hell just tell them it's another crafty little "fix it" Pharmaceutical pill they can take and voila! I second the "slap them out of their delusional fantasy land"...lol. I am glad to see Zeitgeist getting some much needed recognition. Sheople need a good dose of it.
