Support all truth candidates, not just one

Actually, Ron Paul doesn't own the 9/11 truth movement.

Most reasonable folks would never say that a candidate they don't like should "withdraw" in order to support their own candidate - why? Because they understand how democracy works. It's not rocket science.

McKinney has very powerful record on exposing 9/11 truth -

Cynthia McKinney
Re-elected to Congress for the 2005 - 2006 session
Defeated 2006 via voting machines and a media smear campaign
The most courageous Member of Congress, the only Representative willing to talk about 9/11 foreknowledge and complicity
http://www.oilempire.us/cynthiamckinney.html

The Greens (unlike Ron Paul's party) also have a very powerful record on supporting 9/11 truth -

Support any candidate that you like that supports 9/11 truth issues

Correction:

I shouldn't have written that she should withdraw--I think she should continue campaigning as she is spreading some very powerful information. However, I think she be advising people to vote for Ron Paul. He needs as many votes as he can get.

Also, does anyone of you guys know what Cynthia's position is on the Federal Reserve?

Why?

He has zero chance of winning and even IF he did would not be able to change a damn thing except maybe bring the country closer to a theocracy.

Why don't you ask Cynthia?

I don't have an answer for that. All I know is that she has been keeping Congress on the run...running scared. A courageous woman. A true patriot. I tip my hat to her.

i dont know why this hasnt

i dont know why this hasnt been put up on the front page here!!

Cynthia McKinney Talks About 9/11

i would never vote for ron paul, ever!!! youre on glue if you think that ron paul is for 911 truth!!!

anyone that could vote for a rethuglican after the last 6 years is crazy!!

Thanks for posting the link to the McKinney Video!

Cynthia is a powerhouse for justice. Has anyone seen the following video of her "Grilling Rumsfeld"?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eootfzAhAoU

She cares about the people of this country and cleaning up U.S. Government corruption. I hadn't seen this most recent Tuscon AZ video... and truly, everyone should pay attention and tell their friends to do the same. This woman not only seeks out truth but speaks it...isn't that at the crux of this movement?

Ron Paul is in fact for 9/11

Ron Paul is in fact for 9/11 Truth. He's just not of the idea it was an inside job...yet. Him saying so at this point would be political suicide.
He has said he would be for another investigation, so long as it doesn't get fucked up again. That in itself is technically being a part of 9/11 truth. His ideas also fall parallel with what 9/11 truth would bring about anyway...getting rid of all the needless government and world policing, and then some, especially considering the economy.
And the fact he's running as Republican doesn't mean jack. He's running on that ticket seeing as it's a two party system, he's also not a part of the rest of the neocon gang that has totally hijacked the republican party.

LOL

>>youre on glue if you think that ron paul is for 911 truth!!!

Nice one.

Actually, a lot of people have strong feelings about RP, but typically don't take a look at the larger picture of what he supports, so are surprised to see it, and a lot of which is contradictory because he is operating on ideology rather than a larger compassion or desire for objective justice, so you get these mergings of positions like being against the Iraq war but also wanting to drill in Alaska because he is a friend of Big Oil. I felt very concerned when I read his larger record of votes and positions.

Ron Paul on the issues . . .

* Property rights are the foundation of all rights. (Sep 2007)
* Rated 0% by NARAL, indicating a pro-life voting record. (Dec 2003)
* Voted NO on allowing human embryonic stem cell research. (May 2005)
* Voted YES on banning Family Planning funding in US aid abroad. (May 2001)
* Supports a Constitutional Amendment for school prayer
* Voted NO on increasing AMTRAK funding by adding $214M to $900M. (Jun 2006)
* Unlimited campaign contributions; with full disclosure. (Dec 2000)
* Voted NO on requiring lobbyist disclosure of bundled donations. (May 2007)
* Voted NO on granting Washington DC an Electoral vote & vote in Congress. (Apr 2007)
* Voted YES on building a fence along the Mexican border. (Sep 2006)
* Voted NO on increasing minimum wage to $7.25. (Jan 2007)
* Voted NO on strengthening the Social Security Lockbox. (May 1999)
* Abolish the federal Department of Education. (Dec 2000)
* 'Take marching orders from Constitution; not from al Qaeda.' (Sep 2007) http://www.ontheissues.org/Ron_Paul.htm

Now that's some glue!

Anyway, the first headlines are now coming out suggesting that McKinney is definitely running, but I know for a fact that she has not made an official statement. The news stories are just jumping on it to be the first ones, but there are logistical issues that have to be taken care of before she can announce, if she does.

http://blog.cleveland.com/wideopen/2007/10/a_cynthia_mckinney_for_presid...

Should we really nitpick like this?

Since there is only one candidate (as far as I know) who wants to abolish our central bank should we really nitpick like this over some more minor issues that we may or may not disagree with?

Now, if there were several candidates who wanted to harm the oligarchy at the root like by abolishing the Federal Reserve, then I would be all for focusing on more minor issues.

again that dont mean shit

unless you have 60+% support from the Senate then it means nothing at all.
The key is replacing the corrupt 2 party system we have get rid of these insane politicians and get some Green Party candidates in there to help clean this cesspool up.

Yes, I definitely think that we...

need people like Cynthia McKinney in Congress.

With her run for President however, I am concerned that the people that will be voting for her won't also be voting for Paul in the Republican primaries. I think Cynthia should be advising them to vote for him in these primaries.

I think a gesture like that would really aid in breaking down the two party paradigm.

Embedded

Ron Paul

isn't woth a phuck to the 9/11 truth movement, Cynthia McKinney is.

The economical, military

The economical, military industrial complex, and corrupt intelligence agency factors that brought about 9/11 to take place and the legislation and wars that ensued are what Ron Paul is opposing. He also is open to a new investigation.
Sure, he doesn't champion the inside job theory...but what do you expect? The guy is running for office. it's a popularity contest. I'm surprised he still shows up on Alex Jones. plenty of his opponents have used his affiliation with him as ammunition.
Ron Pauls chances may be slim, but the chances of other candidates that are more 'innovative' are a great deal slimmer.

He is a Religious zealot

voting for him would be about the same as voting for Pat Robertson.
The chances for ANYONE worth a damn being elected are exactly ZERO because we have a MSM that lies continuously and it is really they whom decide what candidates are chosen.

Re: Cynthia McKinney is running for president?

That surprised the heck out of me. I got the impression that she made some kind of announcement on Sunday that I had missed.

How many were there? It looks like at least 3-400.

Cynthia McKinney Drops the Green Party
by Jeffry Scott

Former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has given the red light to the Green Party, ending speculation that she would run for president on that ticket and leaving party leaders wondering where their months-long public courtship went sour.

McKinney, who as recently as August 31 made an appearance at a Green Party event where money was raised to retire campaign debt from her failed re-election bid in 2006, said she wanted her name withdrawn from consideration in a letter delivered to the party Monday.

On Wednesday, stunned party officials said they had not spoken to McKinney since receiving the letter, which is posted on her web site, www.allthingscynthiamckinney.com.

“We’re still trying to reconstruct what really happened,” said Brent McMillan, the Washington, D.C.-based national political director for the Green Party. “We haven’t talked to her, and we’re trying to get a meeting with her to find out. We think it’s something that might have happened at a party meeting last weekend in California. Yes, this comes as a big disappointment.”

On September 13th, McKinney called for the formation of an independent Reconstruction Party.

http://www.allthingscynthiamckinney.com/node/102

I, Cynthia McKinney, former Member of Congress for the people of Georgia, would like to hereby declare my full support for the formation of an independent Reconstruction Party in the United States. I also declare my full support for Brother Malcolm Suber's candidacy for New Orleans City Council in the October 20, 2007 elections.

On the 20th, the Atlanta Journal reported that McKinney hints at running for office again:

http://www.ajc.com/news/content/metro/dekalb/stories/2007/09/19/mckinney...

On her Web site, she's invited supporters to send their thoughts on the "possibilities facing her in the 2008 electoral cycle." But otherwise, she is making no commitment. "You can wait until next year," she told Roll Call newspaper this week, after a Washington appearance.

John Evans, who was McKinney's campaign manager in '06, said there is a possibility that she could run for CEO of DeKalb County government next year.

Wait until next year? CEO of DeKalb County government?

On October 4th, judythpiazza@newsblaze.com said she and GP are still talking:

http://www.allthingscynthiamckinney.com/node/124

http://newsblaze.com/story/20071004042616tsop.nb/newsblaze/TOPSTORY/Top-...

Six-term U.S. Congresswoman from Georgia Cynthia McKinney - who may enter the 2008 California Presidential Primary on the Green Party ticket - will speak at a series of events throughout the Bay Area this week, according to "California Greens to Draft Cynthia McKinney in 2008."

McKinney has not yet made a commitment to run as a Green, or independent, but supporters say she is expected to make her final decision public this week.

But, that was written last week.

Nothing here:

http://www.cynthiaforcongress.com/

But, with your help to further reduce the roughly $ 6,200 left of her 2006 campaign debt (down from roughly $ 50,000), she can continue to free herself from the burdens of the 2006 campaign. Then, she can focus on actually making a decision as to what her future service to our nation will be.

Announcment to run for President

It was my impression that she was running in '08 when she spoke at Beach Impeach. I would love to quote her but don't remember the exact words where she indicated so. Prior to that moment , I hadn't heard about it. It was a surprise. Good for her. I hope she speaks publicly a whole lot and in every state of this nation. She will educate much of America about the truth, regarding our loss of democracy and the whittling down of our constitution these past 6+ years (especially).

I was surprised when I went to the Green Party and looked for an announcement and found no info about her decision too. Thanks for all the info and links folks.

Is she running?

I just checked the Green Party web site but could find out nothing about Cynthia running for president. This is what I found.

Green Party

The Green Party will nominate its presidential candidate at its 2008 National Convention, which will be held July 10-13 in Chicago, Illinois.[16]

[edit] Potential candidates

Other individuals who have been the subject of speculation as possible Green Party candidates for president include:

Ralph Nader, consumer advocate, 1996 and 2000 Green presidential nominee, 2004 independent presidential candidate.(Draft movement) [1][2]

Rebecca Rotzler, New Paltz, N.Y. deputy mayor [3].

I see no mention of Cynthia running. If anyone has any info please post. I would love to see this great patriot run and would back her all the way.

Cynthia McKinney

I would vote for Cynthia McKinney in a heart beat if I thought she had a chance. If Cynthia were president our problems would be over. Problem is she has about as much chance of becoming president as I have of growing wings and flying to the moon. I will probably vote for Ron Paul because he would abolish the federal reserve and end the Iraq war........... Also, Nice picture of Carol.

ROTFL

Ron Paul has the same chance of winning, and because he would be completely alone with both the totally insane Rethuglicans & the worthless Democrats against everything he would want to do then he could not accomplish ANYTHING whatsoever, except maybe being assassinated within the first 12 months.
I always think its funny to listen to Ron Paul supporters thinking that he is somehow going to single handedly change everything.

The ONLY way ANYTHING will ever change will be 100% up to voters (once we have a legit election system again) those voters will have to vote ALL of these treasonous war mongering POS OUT of Congress and replace them with mostly Green Party and or a scattered few Libertarian & a very few Democrats.
THEN vote in a real president, preferably Green Party.
Until then what you have is politics as usual, lies and more lies from BOTH sides.

your 'only way of anything

your 'only way of anything will ever change' idea is thousands of times slimmer than getting ron paul into office, sorry to say.
it's the perfect scenario, and as we all know, that will never happen. the closest chance we have to changing shit is getting him into office. even if it's not perfect, wishing for perfection doesn't get you anywhere.
you have to change minds first and people are still stuck on popular politics. Paul is one of the first to appeal to people on either side of party lines, bring about the 'underground' politics to the fore, and still hold onto a semblance of popularity at the same time.

Yes it is much slimmer

the odds of the majority of the American people finally standing up and kicking these criminals out and voting in actual STATESMEN into Congress is ZERO.
Sadly that is because the majority of the American populace are as ignorant as the day they were born and can be swayed so easily by blatant lies that keeping everything the way it is which is clearly only helping the top 2% and screwing the hell out of 98% is as easy as stealing votes from a Democrat.

Paul would have ZERO help from anyone except from Reich wing rethuglicans that would be fine with turning the country into a Theocracy.
Paul is way too much of a religious zealot.

McKinney Rules

Cynthia McKinney has more courage than all the other candidates put together. This can only help inject truth and reality into the political discussion.

I respect Dr. Paul, as well as, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel. All these candidates would help restore some sanity to America. Of these, only Paul seems to have a legitimate shot. The front runners of the major parties are all NWO tools. I'd love to see a presidential debate that includes Cynthia. She won't shy away from telling it like it is. Peace and light be with her.

Truth Will Prevail

Oh and WOW!

Carol baby! WOOT

Agreed

She is almost TOO HOT!

i'll third that! beautiful

i'll third that! beautiful shirt too. its her 9/11 activism thats most attractive though, the woman is tireless! oh, and not to start a flame war or anything but i'll take Cynthia McKinney over Ron Paul any day. it takes real heart to confront the 9/11 lies. knowing both have about the same chance of winning though i'll be pulling for both of them to make noise.

"The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media." ~ William Colby, Former Director, CIA

multipartyism

Yes, I noticed her... ahem... shirt too. ;-) And yes, I respect her 9/11 efforts immensely. As I respect Cynthia, who is a true American patriot.

Living in a country with a vibrant multi-party system (with the Greens as one of the mid-sized parties), a de facto two party system such as that in Britain and the US feels quite strange. I hope people will get more choice there in the future. Ultimately, that depends on you. Or at least that is what I hope.

Cynthia is running for President?
