Gatekeeper Dianne Feinstein Overlooks Treason & Mass Murder

What a huge disappointment. After two months, I finally received an e-mail response to my letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein yesterday. (a friend of mine also received the identical response yesterday as well). Apparently evidence of treason and mass murder aren't important enough for Di-Fi to upset the ranks in Washington? She's more interested in being part of the "go-along to get-along" gang. This isn't the last time she'll hear from me-- and a whole lot of others, to be sure :-) Persistence and patience... it ain't easy, but that seems to be the way.

Here's Feinstein's response, followed by my original e-mail inquiry:

Dear Mr. *******:

Thank you for writing to me with your thoughts on the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 and the continuing government response. I appreciate your comments and welcome the opportunity to respond.

The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States closed on August 21, 2004 after releasing the 9/11 Commission Report. The Commission was highly critical of the governments actions, citing a lack of imagination to envision the full scope of what a host of prior terrorist events meant for U.S. homeland security as well as a failure to connect the dots that might have led to the revelation of the 9/11 plot. The Commission also provided several important recommendations to reorganize government to fight the battle against terror. If you would like to view a full copy of the Commission's report, copies are available at many bookstores and through the 9-11 Commission's website at http://www.9-11commission.gov.

On December 5, 2005 the 9/11 Public Discourse Project, comprised of several members of the 9/11 Commission, followed up on the Commission's recommendations with a progress report and found significant remaining deficiencies in government policy which we continue to work to remedy.

The 9/11 Commission Report did not find evidence of intentional Government complicity in the September 11 terrorist attacks. The Commission was a bipartisan group comprised of many respected leaders who worked exhaustively over many months reviewing millions of records and conducting countless interviews - including of the President and Vice President of the United States. Even if you feel their criticism of the Government might have gone further or uncovered more, I believe our current efforts are best focused on trying to implement the improvements recommended by the Commission - an area in which we still have much work to do. I remain committed to the pursuit of policies that protect Americans from terrorism while safeguarding important civil liberties and will keep your thoughts in mind as I review related legislation.

Again, thank you for writing. If you have any further comments, please contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841.

Sincerely yours,

Dianne Feinstein
United States Senator

... and now, my original letter to the Senator:

Dear Senator Dianne Feinstein,

What has America become while it has been in the hands of the Bush Regime? Is America any longer a democracy where failed leaders are held to account?

How can any patriotic American support a regime that has shredded the US Constitution, ignored the separation of powers, violated the Geneva Conventions, forced through a law legalizing torture, launched a war of aggression that has produced 26,000 American military casualties in service of a lie, murdered tens or hundreds of thousands of Muslim civilians, destroyed an entire country, and planned an attack on Iran, perhaps with nuclear weapons?

Then, there's the added question of who is actually responsible for the attacks on 9/11? Overwhelming evidence suggests pre-planted explosives and thermate caused the concrete and steel twin towers and building 7 (never hit by a plane) to be pulverized and melted, collapsing into their own footprints at free-fall speed. Were the laws of physics suspended in New York on that day? The 9/11 Commission was obviously a white-wash. The US government's official conspiracy theory that nineteen amateur pilots who could barely fly single-engine Cessnas, lead by a cave-dwelling Muslim on kidney dialysis, commandeered four commercial jumbo-jets with box-cutters and flew them into US targets with pin-point accuracy while the entire US military was on stand-down for over an hour is unbelievable.

For the NeoCONS it's all about war profits. Servicemen and women are regarded as expendable resources. The thousands of people killed in the twin towers & Flight 93 on 9/11, and the hundreds of brave first-responders suffering the after effects of inhaling toxins are collateral damage to these heartless individuals. None of this comes as a surprise to those of us whose eyes have been open to the truth. I am personally beyond being shocked, disgusted and angry: I want justice --for these people, for their families, and in honor of the departed souls, we must fight to take our country back. Reality is frightening, but only by confronting it can we ever succeed.

We need to have a world tribunal, rivaling the Nazi trials at Nuremburg, where the major culprits are tried and convicted, then incarcerated or hanged. Perhaps America could regain its reputation if General Pace would send a division of US Marines to arrest Bush, Cheney, the entire civilian contingent in the Pentagon, and send them off to the Hague to be tried for war crimes. We have the Patriot Act. Let's put it to good use.

Your concerned constituent,

Good letter and great "offical" responce

Perhaps that is the only hope.

It would only take one small country, say Norway, to hold offical hearings and bring the criminal house of cards down.
