Of course, this makes it the whole fear-mongering reporting and discussion very difficult to follow. Kinda, sorta, just like the multiple blogs concerning the new moderation policy hammer. Makes you kind of wonder if the result isn't the intent. Ah but, it keeps the number of blogs up though, I guess.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The government has concluded that al-Qaida has rebuilt its operating capability to a level not seen since the summer of 2001, The Associated Press has learned.

mmm... Not seen since the summer of 9/11? But, I thought that they didn't "envision" anything worthy enough to take seriously then.

A new threat assessment suggests the group that launched the most devastating terrorist attack on the United States has been able to rebuild despite nearly six years of bombings, war and other tactics aimed at crippling it.

These frickin' AP reporters make me puke. "The government has concluded"... Who? My mailman didn't say anything about this to me today. The White House has basically said that Chertoff and Brian Ross over at ABC are insane by denying that there is a credible threat or that an emergency meeting after the Wednesday day off for golf has been scheduled..

Have they all gone stark raving mad? Are the efforts of Americans demanding TRUTH and ACCOUNTABILITY causing them such fear that as they run for cover, they can do nothing but shoot contradictory crazy nonsense wildly in the air?

First the government/media complex stops saying "insurgents" and starts saying "al Caeda" in reference to Iraq as per the David Petreas playbook. Then they start stoking fears about Iran by alleging that Tehran is supplying the Shiites.. Now they start prepping us for their final desperate trump card they will play this summer: an "al Caeda" attack on US soil!

If this occurs it will be this summer for several reasons: 1) To shore up support for a continued war effort in Iraq (which could be close to nil when September rolls around and the Dems finally put the lid down) 2) To get the needed pretext for attacking Iran 3) To preempt the September release of "Loose Change" Final Cut 4) To kill any investigation of 9/11 5) To grab ultimate power by declaring Martial Law as provided by Bush's October Executive Order.

Otherwise, if they don't take this Summer window for staging a false flag on US soil, they are finished, so in all likelihood they will play their card.
