Whither the Scholars?

Whither have the scholars for 911 truth gone? Of all the inquiry Sites, they are one of the most important.
Yet if you click on the link to Scholars for 911 Truth, or type in their website http://www.st911.org/ you will find something completely different.
Given the importance of this Site to the movement, I thought I should let you all know!

Whither the backup?
I've been wondering over the past few days, why aren't more professionals coming out publicly for 9/11 Truth? Like over at ae911truth... It's really not enough for just Richard Gage to seek the spotlight, and for all his colleagues to simply sign their names to a web petition. We need 10 or 20 Richard Gages touring North America and the world. 10 or 20 Steven Joneses, 10 or 20 DRG's. Why this assumption that it is ok to have just one main representative from each relevant profession taking a public role? It would be far more effective if we had a dozen architects and engineers doing filmed speeches...
What gives, professionals? We need to saturate the market!! We need to be creating our own media. Get out there and start doing presentations in every small town. And make sure you get it all on video!!!! YouTube is our friend.

Although there
are a number of psychologists who have 'come out', the rank and file I know personally, are pretty much clueless and subject to the same cognitive dissonance everybody else is subject to. Perhaps worse, because they know the concept, they may think themselves immunized to its effects.... but the opposite I bet is true.
Hell, they're still debating (and fortunately there a number who are aware of this hypocrisy) whether psychologists should be allowed to participate in torture..... Note that the American Psychiatric Association and the AMA have both prohibited participation in torture... But not the American Psychological Association. Quite a travesty. And very telling.
For those of us who are aware of 9/11 Truth, many of us (as am I) are hustling just to pay the tax man and our secretarial staff. I work 60 hour+ work weeks (if you include report writing time). Going around the country giving talks would be nearly impossible. I have a hard time simply keeping up with correspondence. That said, many of us, as do I, have experience giving talks on various mental health subjects. I would be happy to switch over to 9/11 truth and think I could probably do a credible job of it. But it would have to be fairly local. But that is the rub. Find small towns in my part of North Carolina, residents of which would sponsor, let alone invite, somebody to come an speak on 9/11 Truth. Hey, know anybody out here in the hills? Cover my gas and feed me. How is that for an honorarium?
I can certainly sympathize with one
who is caught up in the "rat race". We all have to keep our lives functioning as normally as possible. I just think we might wake up one morning (sooner than we think) to find that several nukes have gone off in major American cities, and there are now jack-booted thugs patrolling every street enforcing 7;00pm curfews... 10 to 20 million people in "FEMA camps"... Those of us who were brave enough to speak out are being rounded up for "extraordinary rendition"...
The plans have all been set in motion. It is up to us how far we let all of this go. Our efforts (or lack thereof) will determine how many more people suffer at the hands of the neocon/neolib NWO. I respect that you have responsibilities. I think maybe you don't yet realize what is coming.

Actually,
I think I do understand, as well as you, what is likely coming. I feel your little sting was unwarranted.
I work hard at organizing a truth group in my home town. And,
I have 'converted' a fair number of folks here and continue to work at it. And I would, as I noted above, be more than willing to do more in my locale. But it is impossible for me to run about the greater country lecturing (even it anybody wanted to listen to me). No money and no way to continue to feed my family and pay the bills unless I continue to work. And further, I wouldn't be able to do what I currently do to spread the truth if I am broke and homeless.
And this is the dilemma many of us face. It is a trap of sorts that is very difficult to find a way around.
It was a cheap shot to admonish me for not doing 'more'. In fact, I constantly try to figure out how to do so within the means at my disposal.
But if you have any credible suggestions for how to escape the trap as well as how to do more, I would love to hear them.
All of us must do as much as we can. And sometimes that means working as hard for Truth in your local community as you can. Meanwhile supporting as much as possible those who are in a position to travel and promote resistance to the Empire. And believe me, when push comes to shove at some point in this country, I hope to find You on the front line as well.

if you go to fetzers all you have to do is hit the "911 researchers" link at the top and you are disinformation hell.
People are assuming you know too much.
Scholars for 9-11 Truth broke into two groups over the question of whether some sort of directed-energy weapon was used to zap the twin towers from outer space. Dr. Stephen Jones took the position that it wasn't, and Judy Wood and James Fetzer took the position that it was. I say that it wasn't, although I am open to the possibility (remote) that some sort of miniature thermo-nuclear device pulverized the concrete and caused metal contents of the towers to vaporize. I'm saying that although aluminothermics were obviously used as cutting charges, some other kind of explosive device probably pulverized the concrete and impelled the towers downward. A directed-energy weapon from outer space just isn't practicable.
The problem with the thermonuclear theory is that it depends on the existence of something called "red mercury," which is questionable, although Sam Cohen believes in it.
Dr. Bob Bowman and David Ray Griffin are listed as members of both groups. Dr. Jones as the scholars for truth and justice group and James Fetzer has the scholars for truth group.
