Why now is the time for Americans to wake up and save their republic

Now is the time. The floodgates have opened. People are talking. Is there a problem? Yes. We’ve been lied to. We are sacrificing young American men in Iraq every day. God knows how many Iraqis and Afghanis we’ve killed. If we sit by and not say a word as we allow this to happen, we are guilty. We are guilty of giving too much control to too few. We are guilty for not speaking out against the lies and injustices, the torture and unbelievable deceit, the breaking of America by people who are bent on dictating, controlling and destroying. They’ve done away with the Constitution. They’ve hijacked the airwaves. They are trying to get us to go along with their march toward a new order, but did anyone ever ask us if we thought the whole idea was a good one? State secrets do nothing but harm open and transparent societies. Some will argue that there is no such thing as a fully transparent government, but few can argue that our current government is not secretive. It is our duty as Americans to make things right. A government that cannot be held accountable for its crimes is a rogue regime. A government that does not obey its own Constitution is destined for failure and can only succeed if the populace does nothing. If you know the truth, you must share it. If you want to change the world for the better, you have to get out into the streets and do it!

Johnny Wave, the courageous young marine who recently came out for 9/11 truth, said it best a few nights ago: The train is already barreling down the tracks, all you have to do now is hop on. Johnny Wave has started a revolution. He had the courage to stand out there in public for what is right. You better believe there are people in high places who have no idea what to do about this whole thing. You better believe Johnny Wave threw the snowball down the hill that is going to grow into an avalanche. People say a picture says a thousand words, but those pictures of Johnny in front of ABC studios speak encyclopedic volumes. Those pictures are more powerful than all of the hate and lies ever thrown at us from the establishment media. Those pictures are going to change the world. But be ready for more. We’ve already won this fight against the liars and cheaters, the murderers and thieves. We just have to hold our ground. We’re not going anywhere. We’re getting bigger everyday. The truth is on our side. Justice is on our side. The world is on our side!

It isn’t easy to deal with the implications of 9/11. If you’re reading this then you probably understand that. As an Arab-American who found out about 9/11 just over a year ago, I especially understand that. I’ve dealt with the fear, the paranoia, the hopelessness. It has been immobilizing. It has been crushing. At times I’ve felt people really were out to get me, to shut me up and belittle me. In retrospect, some people have. If there are people out there watching me, tapping my computer and telephone, let them! I want the truth. We all want the truth. That’s why we’re here, that’s why we try to be as informed as possible. That’s why today is the first day of a new chapter for me. I refuse to continue to sit idly behind my computer for hours a day, each and every day. I need to get out there, and I’m going to. Now is the time for action. Now is the time to take Johnny’s lead. Those of us who are whole-heartedly behind the Truth Movement but who have been too afraid to venture out, the time is now! This summer is going to be the climax of all the efforts made by those who have come before us. The truth-seekers who speak truth to power, the scientists, architects, engineers, lawyers, military personnel and professors who have laid the foundation for our revolution of consciousness – how can we thank them? They’ve risked everything by putting their careers on the line. It’s amazing how the truth can do that to a person. But let us not forget that we are also putting everything on the line. Let us not forget that if we sit by and do nothing, we can expect nothing. We need to organize. We need to wake people up.

June 11th will be an amazing day. Get out into the streets. Take your friends. Bring family. Bring a camera. Brainstorm truth action events. Freeway blog. Put up yard signs. Chalk the streets. Keep a positive attitude, we are the peace bringers. The responsibility for creating a better world rests on our shoulders. Most importantly, don’t give up hope. The Truth Movement has come a long way. Let’s take it further. Peace to you all.
