Petition Against Ron Paul Dropped

Shure, from pumpitout.com, called Saul Anuzis' office, head of the Michigan Republican Party to find out why Saul Anuzis wanted Ron Paul kicked from the debates. Shure is basically told by an aide to Anuzis that Anuzis spoke with his RNC collegues and decided to drop the petition against Ron Paul. Here's the phone call:

And to celebrate...

Here's a video of Ron Paul on the floor of the House PWNING the Neocons back in 2003. I keep telling everyone he has been fighting for AMERICA for 27 years in congress, even when no one was watching, and now when they are.

Ron Paul is great

I just pray those voting machines are not rigged for the sake of the human race

This may not be for everyone...

... but if I walk into another school gymnasium, and see those god forsaken touch-screen computer-voting thing-a-ma-riggers... because the "system" has failed to fix itself with a solution so easy and cheap (publicly hand-counted paper)... I'll be highly tempted to kick the stupid thing over and stomp on it for fun.

I'm just saying.

Bill Maher claims Ron Paul as his hero!

Last night on HBO's "Real Time, Bill Maher claimed that Ron Paul was his hero for stating the truth. He pointed out that only Ron Paul has the balls to tell the American public what is really going on with our foreign policy. Bill Maher is as liberal as it gets. I unfortunately cannot locate a clip of the show, but if you have HBO the show airs repeatedly during the week.

It was nice exposure for Ron Paul. However, Paul was on the show with Maher about a month ago, but Maher pretty much dismissed him. Maher mentioned last night that he wants him back on the show, now that he has a better understanding of who he is. It was a good moment for any Paul supporters out there.

Bill Maher is

as left-gatekeeping-phoney as they come. When he first had RP on, instead of treating him like a piece of shit (and getting pwnt in return, I might add), he could have gotten to know RP and what he stands for then. If Maher is now "embracing" RP and want him back on the show, then thats good exposure-wise, and it'll help bring the sleeping lefties to the center, but either way Maher still annoys me. I gave up on all these "stuck-in-the-false-paradigm" gatekeepers a long time ago. That list includes all of Air America including Randi Rhodes, and more recently Kieth Olbermann, when I watched him blatantly lie about the meaning of the second ammendment, but thats a blog entry in and of itself.

Anyway, kudos to Ron Paul.

Maher annoys me too.....

He is too smart not to know that the 9/11 OCT is load of crap. But, he is not brave enough to express his views for fear of losing his job. He got fired from ABC (his "Politically Incorrect" show) for stating his opinion that the 9/11 hijackers were brave. He is not likely to make that same mistake again. Maher's got a good thing going. He probably makes at least a million for doing about 15 shows a year bashing the Bush Administration. How hard could that be? This does not give him an excuse, but many of us, if in a position similar to Maher's would definitely think thrice before outing themselves as a 9/11 Truther.

I agree 100% with your post regarding the phoney left-gatekeepers. Olbermann talks a good game in blasting the Bush Admin. But, only when he has the courage to express his views regarding 9/11 will he aspire to the level of his idol, Edward Murrow. Olbermann knows that the OCT is BS. That's what makes it frustrating watching him skewer the Bush Admin for taking us into war based on lies. But not address the BIGGEST LIE that made all the subsequent lies happen.

I am still waiting for the "tipping point".
