Around 6:00 in the evening on 9/11 ABC's Lynn Sherr gave a rundown of the airplanes and number of passengers. Somehow, she knew that the hijackers were not included in the passenger lists or statistics she was given.
"Total number of passengers and crew, two hundred and sixty-six people, not (of course) counting the hijackers"
How does she know that the hijackers are not included in the 266?

It has been stated for years now
that the reason the hijackers don't appear on manifests used by the media is because the media didn't want to include their names with the victims. It's supposed to be a respect thing.
My comment does not, I must stress, try to explain discrepancies in the flight manifests. I'm only saying that the stated reason for excluding hijacker names when presenting the passenger lists is out of respect for the victims.
It's still the same day.
The hijackers are presumably "unknown" so how does _anyone_ know they are not included in the passenger lists?

with the Will and the Koran and the flight manual and the uniform. I'm joking, and I forget when this was announced, but it wouldn't surprise me if it had been announced before 6 PM that day.

It appears the Boston Globe reported the classic "Quran in a van" evidence the day after:
"The luggage of one of the men who flew to the airport Tuesday didn't make his scheduled connection. The Boston Globe reported the luggage contained a copy of the Quran, an instructional video on flying commercial airliners and a fuel consumption calculator."
Because, you know, you might want to learn how to fly a commercial airliner on the way to the airport.
At the very least, some of the evidence appears to have been planted.
The official story is
that the FBI had them pegged before 10am that morning. That's what Richard Clarke says. They claim their names were on the flight manifests, but this isn't entirely true because the FBI made some mistakes with its initial list of suspects.
Of course, they later changed some names on the list of suspects, and later we learned that some of the suspects may still be alive.

Frank Miller, part of Clarke's counterterrorism staff, says, "We got the passenger manifests from the airlines. We recognize some names, Dick. They're al Qaeda."
Any future investigations
Any future investigations should really analyze how mass media was complicit in weaving the official conspiracy theory. Who fed these news organizations with the info? How did those with the info come up with it so early (in the case of BBC even before the event transpired)? Were any of these news organization's aware beforehand that 9-11 would take place? Are they a part of the conspiracy and mass murder?
The news organizations must be neutralized as tools of the conspirators. They cannot be allowed to further misinform and manipulate the public.
