i really hope that lots of

i really hope that lots of people will make the trip for this event. the list of speakers is great!

So i would really encourage everyone to take a vacation to beautiful Vancouver. I'm part of the Vancouver 9/11 truth society so i've been sitting in on some of the planning for this event and it's comming along great! The group of people in the Vancouver 9/11 Truth Society are some of the nicest and most dedicated people to 9/11 truth and we are really hoping that people will make the trip for this weekend conference.

I would also like to offer my two couches and floor space if people need a place to stay and can't afford a hotel.

If you're unsure of whether you want to travel a long way for a weekend conference, i would suggest staying for a week or two so that you can go the conference and then have time to explore vancouver or maybe nearby Whistler. I work for myself so i'll be able to take time off around the conference to get together with truthers who made the trip and will be in the city before and after the conference. So even if you come alone, myself and other people in the Vancouver 9/11 truth society would be glad to get together and enjoy the beautiful vancouver summer. I'm a 23 year old UBC student, so i'll be going out and partying with friends, hanging out on the beaches, etc. and i would be happy to show anyone who made the trip a good time in the city!

so i hope lots of you will be able to make the trip this summer and i look forward to meeting some of you in person.

Draft Jon Gold For President!

I like the poster for your campaign too.

And the campaign slogan: "Get America on the GOLD Standard"

We could all chip in for a bus.

9/11 Truth Bus!!! Clever name anyone? East coast, from Florida to Maine, then to Chicago, Portland, and up to Vancouver. Actually the gas alone would make this too expensive. But man, that sound fun. Any big donor wanna chip in? We could have lots of buses. A 9/11 truth caravan. Everyone switches seats at every rest stop. Can you imagine 150 truthers mobbing into some small town between here and there to get some food. lol

Clever Bus Name?

Well it's really as old as the hills but maybe that means it communicates:

"9/11 Truth or Bust"

It may not be a smooth ride, but it's a sweet one.

Zonk

ot

has anyone seen this and what do you think??

they say the fire made the onramp collaspe..

Yep... You can see some pics at...

http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/object/article?o=12&f=/chronicle/archive/2007/04/29/BAGVOPHQU46.DTL

You can see the 47 columned massive steel core and 240 perimeter columns turned to a puddle of molten metal...

All this caused by just 8,600 gallons of unleaded gasoline.

Hmmm

hmmm is right

i havent seen one pic of the tanker truck...

Concrete elevated roadway - nothing like WTC

The McArthur maze structure that collapsed is an elevated section of (poorly) reinforced concrete roadway. The tanker caught fire directly underneath. The failure mode was thermal stress causing cracking of the concrete. No acutal structural steel beams were involved, only cheap rebar within the concrete slabs. These structures have not done well in the past either. Failures occured in the SF earthquake of 1989 as well.

The fire model most similar to the WTC would be the Windsor building in Madrid, which burned for 28 hours without major collapse.

i never said anything about the wtc..

please show me a pic of a tanker truck or any type of truck....

Wow. Just wow. And we got

Wow. Just wow. And we got David Ray Griffin in May! C'mon guys, get your asses up here :)

The Eleventh Day of Every Month

Too bad it's so expensive as

Too bad it's so expensive as to dissuade anyone who is ignorant and/or curious about the issues raised in the flyer. This is a great lineup for those in the know, the truthers. Essentially it's a Star Trek convention for 9/11 Truthers and will play as such. Now it's great that we can gather and all but we need to reach out to new people who either have no idea or who are on the fence. And at those prices and attendance restrictions, it will be difficult to entice those who are not in the choir. The first thing that should be released to the public is a speaker bio breakdown along with a schedule so that it at least gives the public a chance to critically analyze where they will choose to focus their attention and spend their dollars. I attended the Zwicker book promo in Van. He spoke as if everyone who attended was in the know and that was not the case at all. The talk fell flat on its face in terms of providing answers. I was a with a friend who was curious but afterwhich was so disappointed with a lack of answers and critical thought, that he lost complete interest in the subject and has since dismiss all of it because of it. People say that polls say that the majority believe that 9/11 was an inside job or fishy etc. I find that the majority of people I know have no frickin clue period. We can't Star Trek this issue and expect it to expand. I suppose what those truthers in Van could do is buy weekend passes for the friends and beg them to attend and that's about it.

Can't wait for the video!

I hope we capture some good video from this event. I am looking forward to this event. I am going to contact Richard Gage of AE911Truth.org and see where he will be. Great event leadind up to 9/11 Mysteries Pt.2, LCFC, Ripple Effect, Jersey Girls/Widows Petition, 6th year anniversary, last year before next Presidential election and more... I also hope there is mainstream coverage of this event. Truthers unite and contact any media/portal/outlet you can. That would be neat if we had a site with an email engine so we can just plug in addresses and send out a heads-up alerts. Here are 3 tools:

If five non-Canadians on

If five non-Canadians on this thread agree to come, I'll sponsor a beach party in Van after the conference. And by "sponsor" I mean find a chill spot and build a wicked fire. You're on your own in terms of beer and cheetos.

The Eleventh Day of Every Month

I'm down

but I think I'll need to get a passport to exit and enter the Homeland...

The Eleventh Day of Every Month

Yeah...

I'm giving it serious consideration along with a few other Portland people, but I'm going to have to get a dang passport.

I second this motion.

Come up and party with us!

I'll be there

Can't miss this.
