Cafferty, Giuliani and 9/11
Today (4/25/07), during the 4 PM (ET) edition of The Situation Room, Cafferty asked the following question:
"Will 9/11 politics help or hurt Rudy Giuliani in the presidential race?"
Imagine my total shock when Cafferty (or one of his staff people) included the following reply among those to be read on the air (which Cafferty read first):
"The public is no longer fully convinced of the official story of 9/11. If Rudy expects to run on that story, he can expect incredulity. If the politics of fear is all he has, the public will abandon him in favor of politics of values, hope and truth. -- Michael"
There wasn't a peep out of Wolf Blitzer afterward.

CNN website sucks
Can anyone please tell me why the hell the ONLY site on the entire Net I can't watch video on is CNN? I get an error message: "PLUG-IN WARNING! Media Player not detected. ". I feel like I'm back in the 1990's. Thanks.
I 'm having problems too
I get that same plug-in error too, with Firefox -- so I have to view CNN.com with MSIE (which I don't use normally) however, now MSIE is not working. CNN must've changed their video delivery mechanism recently, because I am getting sound but a scrambled, static image instead of a picture. Suckz.

The above should ask if you want to play in Internet explorer or not... choose not and it should fire-up windows media player... you should also be able to (right click / copy shortcut) and then (file / open) with Real Player.

Video Problems
For those using OS X on a Mac, you will be successful in opening this video clip using Safari and the free Flip4Mac plugin (which, thankfully, negates the need for using Windows Media Player). If you use Firefox on a Mac, you will need Windows Media Player installed (probably true on Windows computers too?). I was able to get the clip to play in both browsers with those setups. I wish I could offer better advice to Windows users, but I am not a Windows person.
So, finally!!

Is Keith Olbermann next? He must have worn out 20 pairs of tap shoes dancing around the humongous elephant in the room.

Cafferty
knows whats up, and has known for a while. I have seen him have many a not too kind word for this administration, albeit not in the context of 9/11. Then again, Cafferty and others (Lou Dobbs) tend to distance themselves from retaliation by letting the viewer email do the railing. Slick. I have been very surprised by comments that have made it to air because they were emails, and not the employed broadcaster's personal comments. I am sure there is much much worse stuff being said in those emails that they don't air.
Glad to see they have begun nipping the edges of 9/11
