Transcript of 'One Minute Rant' To Air Thursday on The Sam Seder Show on Air America

Last month we won an auction for 1 minute of air time on Air America - specifically on the Sam Seder show. This 1 minute rant will air tomorrow (Thursday, March 15th) in the 3rd hour of the show which should be between 11AM and 12PM EST. Unfortunately 1 minute is not enough time to get much across. All I can hope is that we turn on at least a handful of honest Americans to stand up for our cause.
Here is the transcript:
In August of 2006, 9/11 family members released a statement questioning the "entire veracity" of the 9/11 Commission report. [1]In September of 2006, a documentary entitled "9/11: Press For Truth" was released, and family members at the National Press Club called for a new investigation into the events of 9/11. [2]
In October of 2006 a New York Times poll found that only 16 percent of Americans believe the Bush administration is telling the truth about 9/11. [3]
NONE of these stories were covered by the so called 'progressive media'.
(It is time for the 'progressive media' to start covering these stories.)
It is time to stop pretending that the very basis of the so-called 'war on terror' is the ONLY subject that the Bush administration has NOT lied about.

While the money will eventually end up in the coffers of the YearlyKos convention (a not too friendly place for 9/11 skeptics), I hope that it still serves a greater purpose in getting even just one minute of challenging 9/11 onto the national airwaves (you know, since Mike Malloy is gone and all). But don't worry, I am quite sure that the YearlyKos convention will have a sizable 9/11 contention when it hits Chicago this August (more), and that the 9/11 community will make sure Air America hears us tomorrow.

So when anyone comes here from Sam Seder's show, it gives them a bit more background and warm welcome etc.
Also might want to consolidate all the website links presented in the "1 minute" on the welcome page... and just mention "911blogger.com" in the broadcast, keep it simple and EASY to remember...

About three weeks ago I logged on with my usual username of 'Cincy911Truth' and received a message saying I was 'not authorized to post comments'. I had been using this username for 9 months or so now. So I sent you and Rephrehensor an email and asked why I received that message. I didn't receive a response, so I created a new username 'akaCincy911Truth' and used that. Today when I went to log on I received the same 'not authorized to post comments' message with this username.

Planets aligned for 9/11 Truth.
This is great for 9/11 news and truth. The planets must have been aligned for us to win this contest. Hopefully it leads a lot of listeners to question things and get active regarding nine eleven and this criminal administration. I encourage everyone to rant a bit at Sam Seder and tell him to cover the truth regarding 9/11.

Where we are today is because of the insipid, timid, least-provocative, most-weak stances taken by people because they are afraid to "upset" people too much. (make waves, etc.)
Instead of standing up for what is right regardless of the consequences and being "in-your-face" about something regardless of people's responses and reactions. (because they are THEIR problem, and they will come around eventually if they are even halfway decent or intelligent people)
Compared to the anti-slavery movement of the mid-1800's and thereafter, the 9/11 Truth and Justice Movement is doing the equivalent of standing back and commenting under their breath that "they ought to not treat people like that" and "somebody ought to do something about that".
And the "rant" they prepared isn't even worth being called a "rant". Referring to it as such is being delusory and self-embarrassing.
THAT is why we are where we are today. (among other related problems and issues)

I think you really, really underestimate the degree of brainwashing the western population have been exposed to by the MSM for the last 50 years or so.
The consequences of being "in-your-face" about 911 been an inside (corporate, MIC) job is turning people off. I live in Quebec, a rather liberal society, and even here, I have to take people very slowly to the truth about 911 and to grasp the degree of corruption into the world affairs.
Never forget, majority of people believe that "reality TV" IS real and that talking heads can't and never say something that is untrue. Their brains are washed.
You want to wake up the mass. "Investigate 911" and "Ask Question, Demand Answer" will work a lot better that "911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB". My 2¢.

I see you live near Chico, CA, that group seems to be getting very active lately, are you involved with them? I'm only a few hours away (just north of SF) and am planning a trip up your way in the near future, perhaps we can meet and/or do some public outreach together.

not a grand slam, but a solid line drive home run.
The tone is good for the intended audience. Opening the message by mentioning the family members gives it emotional currency and resonance. Citing the poll statistic validates 9/11 truth as a mainstream issue.
Hopefully the web sites won't fly by too fast.
Perhaps the face slap to the progressive media will shame them into finally asking the questions and pursuing the answers (don't hold your breath).
I worked on my 60 second spot for two hours. I don't think most people realize how difficult it is to get a really good message into one minute.

Isn't ZBig the guy who wrote The Grand Chessboard, which is supposedly the evil master plan of the boys over at PNAC / AEI ?? Is he lying on Stewart's show, or did pnac bastardize and twist his words from the chessboard? I have seen countless documentaries painting this guy as a satan, including stuff from very well versed people like Webster Tarpley and Mike Ruppert, yet stewart is kissing his ass, the crowd cheers for him, and he doesnt at all sound that maniacal. What's going on here?!?

Can someone tell me how i can hear this? I Live in Florida , suck with the computer and not sure if that i can just switch an am or fm dial to air america. The airwaves around here are clogged with right wing nazis like Rush, Glen Beck, Sean Hennity, Mike Galleger, Bud headenger, and a few other duchebags i forgot the names of. Question: When Seder asked you how you knew Giuliani knew that the towers were going to "collapse" before they fell, did you explain that Giuliani admitted it during a teevee interview? I'm asking because it sounded like there may have been an edit after his question and I'm wondering if they cut out your answer (if you gave one).

Not the recording (Michael sent that to me yesterday), but the show... Sam Seder is an @sshole. Let's bring out the wacko crazy looney speech before we play the tape, and then say "we've covered that before" afterwards when the only thing they've covered before are the questions about 9/11, NOT the call for a new investigation.
Congratulations dz and Michael. It's obvious that Sam had NO IDEA what to say.

Please Sam, point me to the show where you announced that representatives of a GOOD portion of family members (family members themsevles) called for a new investigation into the attacks. Please Sam, point me to the show where you announced that the family members that fought for the creation of the 9/11 Commission declared that Commission "derelict in its' duties" and questioned the "entire veracity" of the 9/11 Report. Please Sam, point me to the show where you announced the release of a documentary endorsed by the family members that fought for the creation of the 9/11 Commission, and brings into question the ENTIRE 9/11 Report (Randi doesn't count).

Having never really listened to him, let alone speak to him, it was clear by is tone that he thinks we're all nut jobs. I'll have to write him, I suggest we all write him. He seemed like just another mindless ass. i had notes right in front of me for a barrage but they cut me off.
