So who is participating in the 911 cover-up.
The entire mainstream media. Literally hundreds of TV stations, and newspapers, weekly news magazines, the wire services, and a few hundred radio stations, not only in the USA, but in Britain, Australia, and much of Western Europe. These people are either totally unreliable, too stupid to see what is right in front of them, or too scared to do their jobs properly. Would you ever again trust any reporter who decided to support the official government conspiracy, even though he/she knew it was a cavalcade of lies, because that person was afraid of losing their income?
Every politician in the United States and Britain and Australia with very few exceptions - all of them from the Federal Government, to the State house in every one of the fifty states.
The leadership, and many of the staff in the FBI, the CIA, The Justice Department, Homeland Security, the NSA, DIA, Army and Naval Intelligence, FEMA, NIST ,the Air Force, Air Traffic Control, and the Pentagon.
Hundreds of academics, and every high school physics teacher who is not a member of a truth group.
The leadership, and senior management of dozens of major corporations, especially insurance companies AIG and Marsh & McLennan, and security company Kroll & Associates, but also most of the engineering companies in America, Britain and Australia who knowingly remained silent while tens of thousands of people were slaughtered in Afghanistan and Iraq based on the lie of 911.
What will happen to America, nay, to the world, if all of these people were facing indictment as accessories to mass murder.
This is why the BBC and the rest of them are so blase about responding when their cover is blown. They know that it is simply impossible for the authorities to ever admit to their crimes. To do so would so radically change the balance of power in the world -- we could all be speaking Chinese in one generation. No doubt many thoughtful people have considered this, and have decided to support the official lie, simply because the alternative is, in their view, even worse.
It is possible to argue that many of these people are victims of mind control, the PsyOp of 911(and Oklahoma City and who knows how many more), but is that excuse sufficient, more than five years after the fact, and in the light of the massive amount of evidence that has been publicly available, for YEARS.
What will be left of our civilization if the truth comes out? If we win, we lose. If we lose, we lose.

Bollocks. You've obviously swallowed the "cold war" myth hook and sinker. Here's a bit of wisdom fer ya:

Declassified documents reveal this in painful detail. In fact, the "war on communism" was extremely similar to the "war on terra": an excuse to deny third world countries their resources while keeping the "homeland" terrified.
Do you honestly think the Chinese would ever consider invading the United States? If you believe that, there's not much that can be done for you: you're out of your friggin' mind.
You do have one salient point, however: members of the ruling class cannot admit 911 truth. Warmongering and domestic police state measures do not affect them in any meaningful way, indeed they profit off these horrors; admitting the "big lie" would shatter the entire paradigm; therefore they cannot and will not admit the obvious.

Your last statement seems to validate the point I'm trying to make.
There are millions of idiots in America who believe that Bush is the instrument that brings about the end-times, the apocalypse foretold in the "Word of God". These people, and all of the other fools whose religious belief in the "good old USA" will simply not allow them to think that their government, or their heroes like Limbaugh and O'Reilly , could possibly be involved in betraying the American people, will finally get off their fat lazy asses if anyone tries to arrest their beloved leaders.
The Chinese would dominate the world stage after the second American civil war.
Why?
Why would they invade a country that they are allowed to inhabit? They could just move here.
They could destroy us financially by divesting out of the dollar without a shot fired.... then swoop in and buy up everything for pennies on the dolllar.
The do rely on us for one thing.... food. But if they ever decided to be innovative they wouldn't need us for that either.
If they adopted the Ford Philosophy and began paying their people more money.... enought to afford the goods that they produce then they wouldn't need us or anyone else. Their currency would then be standing where the dollar is now.
Unfortunately, the US is the only country which buys all the crap that they make. Their people do not want or need the stupid stuff we think will make our lives complete.

Shrapnel, I think there is something in what you say here. In my words, the real reasons behind the 9-11 PsyOp (and others like it in the past) are 'structural.' Stuff like this is inevitable given the structure of society.
And who wants to contemplate messing with the structure of society?
A great thinker on this topic, Dave Korten (know the name? He wrote When Corporations Rule the World) has a new book out on this which is a very good read. Most people blogging here might not have enough time or interest to consider it. But would you? I suggest that you look at it: The Great Turning. See what you think.
Dave has a website devoted to it. The guy is a realist... yet he's positive in outlook somehow. He's got ideas about what we can do about this, big as the problem is. Do look at it.
Bigger Than 9/11
Personally, I think the issues that we face are much bigger than just 9/11 truth.
We need to come to grips with the real history of the US.
This radio broadcast from 1967 is a condensed version of the problems our nation faced then & now.
To think that people have been aware of these issues for more than 50 years. Yet, it took 9/11 before I would wake up to the fact.
It is truely more scarely than 9/11.

Now we're getting somewhere, except that it's much beyond the history of the U. S., a drop in the bucket of this particular timeline, which stretches back perhaps ten thousand years? The woes we know are at least as old as the emergence of what Marx called dialectical materialism. In other words, the deviation from stone-age technology toward an engineered, technological society ruled by psychopathic elites and intended to replace nature (the war on TERRA) and death with immortality and absolute power.
