Call In the Bulldog

Ed Haas is on the money when he rallies everyone to contact new House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

However, it is important to also call in the bulldog. Without getting help from the bulldog, Pelosi will never listen.

Who's the bulldog?

Congressman Henry Waxman.

Waxman may be a super-nerdy looking guy, but he is the bulldog of investigations in the House. Even when there was no chance of criminal prosecutions due to the political make-up of the House, Waxman methodically documented wrongdoing in multiple areas and issued numerous, well-documented reports of wrongdoing.

Indeed, the scoop from Republican insiders before the election was that the biggest fear was Waxman being in the majority party, since he is such an investigative bulldog (the other main fear was Conyers being in the majority party in the Senate and initiating impeachment proceedings).

While contacting Pelosi is vital, she will not lift a finger unless Waxman tells her it is a vital issue with abundant evidence of wrongdoing. He's the guy who digs up the dirt, and he's been champing at the bit for years to bring criminal investigations against the wrongdoers in Washington. Light a fire under Waxman about 9/11, and he will light a fire under the House leadership.

So please write a thoughtful letter laying out the FACTS which prove that 9/11 was an inside job, and politely demand that Waxman investigate. Please write AND fax. If you have time, please also call.

You should know that Waxman has already called for investigations into certain aspects of 9/11. See here, here, here, here, here, and here. Thoughtful, fact-based letters with links to source materials may push him to the next level. And once the bulldog is on the trail of wrongdoing, he just might not let go.

it's ok...  we still love you, you dirty boy!

I'll believe it when I see it...

For sure, let's inundate them all with polite letters begging for them not to be complicit in a criminal coverup--but more importantly keep burning those DVDs and waking up your friends, neighbors, dogs, and cats to the truth about the demolition of building 7 and the towers.

I would say that http://www.fema.gov/pdf/library/fema403_apc.pdf
is a good thing to let your congressistas know you know about. It's where FEMA admits that high temperatures resulted in sulfidation and oxidation in building 7's steel, and that further study was advisable.

Where's that further study?

Fortunately...

No one in government has ever looked nerdier than the Napolean Dynamite clone that is John Bolton so at least the congressman has that clear fact in his favor.

Anybody know Waxman's email address?

Looks like he only wants to hear from Californians.

Write, call or fax him...

Thanks for the contact info on Rep. Henry Waxman Jon. Very good idea.

I've tried emailing House of Representatives outside of my district many times regarding 9/11 and I usually get a polite email in return stating that as a professional courtesy they either pass my email on to my local state rep or do not accept emails from people outside of their own district.

But that still leaves you with the option of calling them via telephone, faxing them or writing them a letter. I've heard talk show host Thom Hartmann and his guest (now Senator) Bernie Saunders say several times that a letter or phone call is much more persuasive than just sending an email.

We all need to follow up with these ideas and contact Waxman and Pelosi. Let's not give up after just one email or phone call either. Keep the pressure on!

Some logical and interesting questions might be:

What type of equipment was used in the voting counties?

Who was in charge of their oversight?

How does the vote correspond to exit polls?

How does the voting correspond to previous elections?

Are there any extenuating circumstances that affected the vote in these districts?

Dear Rep. Pelosi, It is

Dear Rep. Pelosi,

It is with great respect that I commend your leadership in leading the Democrats to regain control of the House, and hopefully the Senate. I can’t stress, however, that you and your party should not shrink from its obligation to ensure the long term survival of your cherished and fragile democracy. While I support the majority of your efforts in moving forward your 100 Hours plan, I believe that the issues associated with these plans are irrelevant to the overall survival of our country.

It is evident from the fall of the leader of the 60 million evangelicals that people can’t be trusted with power, no matter how “good” they appear to be. That is why our Constitution must be preserved in the strongest form. To allow the Constitution to be further eroded will allow the inevitable downfall of our great country.

With this in mind, I strongly urge you to pursue the following actions even though they may be unpopular and could result in the Democrats failing to retain the House and/or Senate in 2008.

1) Fully and independently investigate the events leading up to 9/11 to what parties knew about and participated in this horrific act.
2) Fully and independently investigate the events of 9/11 to identify exactly what happened on that day and why.
3) Fully and independently investigate the events after 9/11 to determine such things as why the EPA knowingly lied about the toxicity of Ground Zero, why we really invaded Iraq, and why OBL has not been caught.
4) Repeal or significantly alter the Military Commissions Act to ensure that American citizens can’t be labeled Enemy Combatants, and that the US does not allow torture of any kind.
5) Repeal the Warner Defense Act so that the US Military can’t be used in the US against its own population.
6) Censure the president for the use of his signing statements to thwart the authority of the Congress to enact laws that the Executive must follow.
7) Censure the president for not acting on 9/11 when he was told that the “Country is under Attack”.
8) Censure the president for misleading the public as to the reasons why we needed to invade Iraq.

In the end, I believe that items 1, 2, and 3 will provide the necessary evidence to bring impeachment, war crimes, and possibly treason hearings against President Bush, VP Cheney, SofD Rumsfeld, and SofS Rice.

I believe that you will find widespread support for such investigations once the lies precipitated by this administration have been revealed and the public hears the plethora of evidence that is readily available.

Best Regards,

Jews gain in U.S. Congress

Jews increased their numbers by two in the U.S. Senate and at least four in the House of Representatives.

Rep. Bernie Sanders, an independent who was backed by the Democrats, won Vermonts Senate seat.

Rep. Ben Cardin, also a Democrat, took Marylands seat. Sen. Joseph Lieberman, an independent in Connecticut who has pledged to vote with the Democratic caucus, also won.

Another two Jewish incumbent senators won re-election: Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.).

The wins raise Jewish representation in the Senate to 13, the most Jewish members that body has had.

There were 26 Jews in the House in the last Congress.

Six Jewish Democrats in Florida, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Arizona, Kentucky and New Hampshire won freshman bids.

That means at least 30 Jews will serve in the House in the next Congress.

Pelosi Works To Shore Up Image Would-be House Speaker Praised by Jewish Groups, But GOP Warns of Pro-Palestinian Constituents
Nathan Guttman | Fri. Oct 27, 2006 When the news broke last week that former President Jimmy Carter is set to release a book highly critical of Israel, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi quickly issued a statement denouncing the views of her fellow Democrats. “With all due respect,” Pelosi declared in a written statement, “he does not speak for the Democratic Party on Israel.” ...

Waxman be duh man

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1162378341743&pagename=JPost%...

In recent weeks, Democrats have been working to counter concerns they would balance
support for Israel and the Palestinians or that Democrats would name committee chairmen
who are seen as traditionally unsupportive of the Jewish state.
"There will be some Democratic chairmen who may not share all my views or have
as clear a perspective on Israel as I do," Rep. Henry Waxman (D-California),
a Jewish lawmaker, said in a recent on-line chat with Jewish voters, sponsored by
the House Democratic caucus. "But they will not be chairing committees dealing
with Israel and the Middle East."
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee also weighed in. In a statement last
week, it said, "Strong bipartisan support for Israel exists in both parties
and, regardless of who is in control, that support will remain steadfast."
"AIPAC works closely with leaders on both sides of the aisle, each deeply committed
to strengthening the bonds between the United States and Israel," the statement
continued. "No matter who wins the upcoming elections, AIPAC is confident that
Congress will continue to support a strong Israel and a strong relationship between
the United States and its most reliable ally in the Middle East."

[In other words, the ZionCon Congress will continue unimpeded, along with Zionist mass murder, torture and World World]

Okay, Concrete man, you have

Okay, Concrete man, you have some 'splainin' to do.

You seem to imply that someone who's religously or culturally Jewish automatically supports imperialist Israeli Zionist policies. Is that what you're saying?

Do you know that when you make blanket statements about a massive group of people with no evidence trails connecting them that you sound like a bigot or an idiot?

Do you know that the Truth movement has enough problems with persons trying to make us look like we're anti-semites or Holocaust deniers and your apparent obsession with "Jews" (as opposed to Israelis, Zionists or even Mossad) will feed that?

Or are you just too lazy to make the distiction? If so, you're doing more harm than good.

Yes, it does appear that Mossad--not "the Jews"--played a role in 911. So did M16, ISI and any other intelligence agencies from countries allied or beholden to the States.

Yes, Israeli policy--not "the Jews"--drives much of what the States does in the middle east. Israel could not survive without US foreign aid--not because Isreal "controls' the US, you ponce, but because the US needs a counrty like it to destablize and control the region.

And yes, as a result, there are plenty of propoganda rags and politicians that want to convince the rest of us that Zionists--not "the Jews"-- are the last best hope for peace in the Middle East so the money can keep coming.

And there are plenty of American and Israeli Jews who reject imperialism in Palestine utterly.

So the only purpose I can see to you posts are testing how tollerant we're going to be of someone going on about "the Jews". And then someone else can add it to a list of links "proving" the 911 movement is against "the Jews".

Is that what you want, to give us another headache?

Here's you chance to prove you're not a wanker. Please clarify your position.

"You seem to imply that

"You seem to imply that someone who's religously or culturally Jewish automatically supports imperialist Israeli Zionist policies. Is that what you're saying?"

Not exactly (but some truth to that after all). According to James Petras in an interview with journalist Jeffrey Blankfort, most American Jews DO NOT support elite ZionCon policy. Its quite a complex topic actually, trying to figure out what any group of people thinks. There are Israelis, then there are American Jews, then there are American Jewish Liberals, and so on. Then there are Americans. What is overwhelmingly true is that most American Jews support Israel to varying degrees, and it could also be argued that since most American Jews are in positions of relative power and wealth their voice is disproportionately represented. See JJ Goldberg's book which I think is called Inside the Jewish Establishment (or words to that extent) and James Petras' book, The Power of the Isreal Lobby (just out). The American Left is heavily under the control of Liberal Jews whose sacred cow is Israel, the leading Zionist apologist is Noam Chomsky whose idiotic anaysis has been debunked in an article by Jeff Blankfort called Damage Control. The fact that the Dumbocrats receive 60 percent of their funding from Pro-Israel sources should give cause for concern. The fact that Waxman will make sure that only pro-Israel politicians will be in positions of decision making is telling. I certainly agree, non Jews are totally complicit (and guilty to that extent) in allowing the hijacking of America as long as they keep their mouths shut, that is why I am opening mine. The cryptocracy has spoken, and so have I.

Letter

We need to contact Waxman and others and push for these investgations. We are on the side of the Constitution and we will prevail!

The encouraging results of the recent mid-term elections have moved me to write you today, to encourage you to continue to push for investigations and accountability in regards to affairs during the previous Republican-controlled Congresses. I implore you to conduct oversight hearings as quickly as possible, so that our Constitution may once again regain its place in ensuring our rights as Americans to be free from unlawful arrest, detention, prosecution, and torture. Serious transgressions have recently been committed against the founding principles of our democracy, and it will require extraordinary measures to regain them. You have previously called for oversight hearings as recently as 2005.

Therefore, I implore you to conduct investigations and, if the results of this oversight should procure evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors on the part of the Executive, to pursue articles of impeachment in accordance with the Constitution. Our rights and procedures will mean little if they are not applied in situations such as our current crisis dictates.

As a scholar and historian, I have conducted extensive research into the 9-11 Commission Report, the events of September 11, 2001, as well as the foreknowledge of certain parties within the government. There is ample evidence that many of the crimes of 9-11, on which we have based our current foreign policy and domestic surveillance programs, have not been adequately investigated. I would call your attention to the following matters:

1)

The NIST and FEMA reports on World Trade Center Building 7 that have thus far not explained in a credible manner the sudden and symmetric collapse of this building.

2)

The analysis of melted World Trade Center steel by Prof. Steven Jones of Brigham Young University, showing traces of thermate (explosive) residue. These results alone, if indeed they are correct, require a revision of the 9-11 Commission Report as well as a much more serious and thorough investigation.

3) The implementation of the recommendations of the 9-11 Commission, including the release of surveillance tapes of the Pentagon, in regards to the Freedom of Information Act, and including other withheld government evidence, should be immediately pursued.

4)

The investigation of an unusually high amount of put-options placed on American and United airlines in the days preceding September 11, 2001, pursued but not resolved by the Kean-Hamilton 9-11 Commission, implying direct and domestic foreknowledge of the attacks, must not be ignored.

Mr. Waxman, these questions and others are currently being raised and seriously pursued by historians and scholars such as myself. As a young researcher pursuing doctoral studies and a lifelong career in academics, I can assure you that such important historical questions cannot remain unsolved, and that these questions will continue to be raised until such time as historians and citizens receive satisfactory answers.

It is my duty as a patriotic citizen who loves and cherishes my democracy that implores me to resolve these issues. My faith in the democratic system has been recently restored by the change in direction of the Congress. With this new leadership comes responsibility. In international circles, the United States currently suffers from a crisis in leadership. The United States, if it does not resolve issues of domestic terrorism, will continue to decline on the international stage. Investigating the crimes of 9-11 is a step in the direction of accountability, honesty and restored legitimacy in government.

In hoping that you will act on my concerns, as well as those of many other millions of informed American citizens, I will continue to correspond on a weekly basis until such time as satisfactory investigation and oversight has commenced. I wish you luck, Mr. Waxman, in your new session of Congress, and hope that your commitment to our democracy is indeed as good as your oath of office.

Awesome letter Prof

By the way, you can go ahead and say that FEMA itself reported in its findings conditions of steel members that are consistent with a thermate reaction, just as described by Steven Jones. They found pieces of steel that showed partial melting and both oxidation and sulfidation. I think it's important to note that this part of the FEMA report, appendix C, called for more study of these samples. Have thsoe studies occurred? Doesn't seem like they did. Just because FEMA did not go into possible causes does not mean they weren't aware of them. They did their best to be thorough while not actually stating the obvious incriminating conclusions of their findings.
