Barrett to talk on 9/11 belief
UW-Madison lecturer Kevin Barrett will talk Sunday at the university about his controversial belief that the U.S. government was complicit in the 9/11 attacks, prompting two elected officials on Tuesday to again call for his termination.
Barrett, a member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, will appear with another member of that group, James Fetzer, on Sunday at Van Hise Hall.
The talk, titled "A Folklorist Looks at 9/11 'Conspiracy Theories,'" is sponsored by the UW-Madison's Folklore Program. Fetzer, a professor at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, will talk about "9/11: What We Know Now That We Didn't Know Then." The talks are scheduled from 2 to 4:30 p.m., with the room to be announced.
State Rep. Steve Nass, R- Whitewater, repeated his calls for Barrett to be removed as a university lecturer. Nass also criticized the university's sponsorship of the lecture, which is non-financial. U.S. Rep. Mark Green, Republican candidate for governor, echoed Nass' call for the university to terminate Barrett, calling his views "absurd and slanderous."

Additionally, in the real world, members of the Bush Administration would currently be defending themselves against vigorous attacks from congress and the electorate for years of outright lies and law-breaking; and I'm only talking about all of the lies and law-breaking which occured after and apart from 9/11, crimes which are already well documented in the public record (misleading the U.S. into an illegal war in Iraq, torturing prisoners in violation of the Geneva Convention, extraordinary rendition, etc., etc., etc.). These guys make Ollie look like a saint.

with these visits. Seems like a dead end to me. Dick Cheney could confess and Sean Hannity still wouldn't believe it. Clearly Colmes has a funny little Fetzer fetish and may in fact be a closet truther but ultimately
the role here is "the nutty professor". With so many "smart people" out there in radio & TV land still in the dark

i would recommend to avoid any talk of an "end game", since that's just what they want to do, to frame 9/11 truthers as some kind of "insurgency"-threat. Instead, especially for the FOX audience, i would expose how much of a mystery 9/11 is, with the insurance fraud of Larry Silverstein, and war games, and Bush repeatedly claiming to have seen the first plane hit in his limousine - these folks have to be made curious, then they will start asking questions themselves - curiosity will light the fire...

I hope Fetzer brings out building 7 in detail. It is the easiest point to understand and the most intriguing of all 9/11 mysteries. He must plant the seed inside of their heads that causes them to investigate on their own. He must state that the entire event was caught on tape and referred to many times by Silverstein, first responders and the media as a controlled demolition. War games may be too complicated and too 'military' for most people.

There is a 30year effort to undermine workers' solidarity and it was a spectacular success. in the year 2006 US-workers are no longer unionized, and most still get only 4 public holidays, while europe's unionised workers get 6weeks PLUS 10 public holidays
