The controversy began mounting more than two weeks ago with the shocking discovery that the film's most riveting character, played by Nicholas Cage, is a black former Marine sergeant. Another heroic figure, a New York City policeman, is actually African-American as well.
Cage's character in reality is Jason L. Thomas, 32, a Columbus, Ohio, security guard and father of five children. The other African-American cast as a white man is Bruce Reynolds, the police officer.

His main example is the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11, which he sees as a second Reichstag Fire, a manufactured event designed as a pretext for a great power grab by the Bush administration and their allies.

Morgan Reynolds latest article is talking about no-plane again, but this time i agree with him: an article at infowars.com had attempted to discredit everything except LIHOP (real cell phone calls, real hijackers etc.) as 'unfit' when in fact this is the best evidence of 9/11 fraud.
He's also correct that truth should not be sacrificed in the name of 'unity'. The reason this whole thing is not getting anywhere is the media/govt. resistance to acknowledge it. They did their job with Watergate, but now the gatekeepers are shutting the doors.

and wisnewski's documentary "operation 9-11" was shown on WDR once that i know of, i saw it. but it was then banned, and his tapes at WDR were put under lock.

If they start discussing 9/11 truth, they lose their funding... simple as that.

exactly. these so called "progressives and liberals" are nothing more than a false alternative to the conservative/corporate MSM. the same companies that fund Fox and CNN fund the likes of Amy Goodman and The Nation. we are forcing thier hands though. the conservative/corporate MSM is indeed hopeless, but even though the same companies that fund Fox and CNN also fund these so called "alternative media", i have noticed that they are at least being forced to address 9/11, if only briefly and in a simplistic way. example, just this month The Progressive asked Gore Vidal what he thought of the conspiracy theories regarding 9/11, and Mother Jones had a list of 9 things that Congress needs to investigate if the Dems get enough power after the elections to hold investigations. My use of the word "fix", was not the economic application you may have misunderstood. I was referring to a fixed-game, like going to a casino where only the illusion of winning is maintained by allowing the occasional dip-shit to walk away with a million.
The labels, all of them, are worthless by comparison to the intent, the means employed, and certainly if by any measure to the "outcome". I could no easier be boxed a "neo-liberal", than George Bush could be honestly boxed as a "Christian". My self-labeling is most often absurd-ist demonstration, being labeled is as effective and me calling George a "fancy-pants-dip-shit", even though I love to do it.
As for the "economy" I speak of (do I really have to put everything in quotes to highlight the absurdity of its bandied application?) is a free market of ideas. The "money" used to quantify them is merely a means for people to more easily pass and exchange them. Ideas or creative production, constitute the only true economy. People who do not exercise imagination and creativity most often end up poor and frustrated. Bankers, robber-barons of all kinds, public officials in this day and age, and people addicted the the trappings of "corporations".... have made an industry of skimming simple labor and especially the ideas which come from it most often because they themselves DO NOT CREATE WEALTH.
These so called banks and management structures offer some, but little by comparison, added value on top of the real product. Yet most people, in lemming fashion now assume that "we just can not live with out them". This assumption is not completely without some merit, but the way it is now used implies that banks, management and corporate structure form bedrock rather than the convenience store they are.
I'm not advocating ANYTHING anarchistic no sooner than I would advance an [insert label here] authoritarian top-down administration of any kind. I think I'm speaking to people of all minds and ability, no matter the level of strata in which they currently reside, to consider what is truly valuable (creativity and imagination) which comes before negotiable, currency, money, or the management and banking of it.
