Naval "National Center for Energetics" Records Of Pre-9/11 Nano-Energetic Materials Development, Nonexistent Or Destroyed
The Indian Head Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, (a branch of the Naval Sea Systems Command or NAVSEA), described in 1999 as the "national center for energetics"[1], "the only reliable source of aluminum nanopowders in the United States”[2] and in 2008 as "probably the most prominent US center for nano-thermite technology"[3], alleges via Freedom of Information Act replies that records "regarding research and development of nano-sized or Ultra Fine Grained (UFG) aluminum powders, nano-sized or Ultra Fine Grained (UFG) iron oxide powders or other metal oxide powders and Metastable Intermolecular Composites prior to 2002" do not exist. According to Indian Head, "research may have been conducted by Indian Head Division personnel but not submitted."
Records prior to 2002 of Indian Head's private sector partnerships regarding nano-sized energetic materials development and production, were reportedly destroyed per policy after seven years (or all such records prior to 2002).
Explosive, unreacted thermitic material containing nano-meter sized grains of intimately mixed aluminum and iron oxide, has recently been discovered in dust created by the collapses of the World Trade Center buildings on September 11, 2001.[4]
UPDATE: U.S. BTS FOIA Records For 9/11 Planes Differ From BTS Online Database
According to a Freedom of Information Act reply from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), the last known pre-9/11 flights for three of the four aircraft involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 took place in December, 2000, nine months before the attacks, while no pre-9/11 final flight information was provided for American Airlines flight 77 (N644AA).
However, a discovered searchable online BTS database produces the following search results for three of the four 9/11 aircraft on September 10, 2001:

FEMA: No Records Identifying WTC 7 Department Of Defense Branch Office
The following is a February 12, 2009 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reply from The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), within which it is stated that no records were located identifying what Department of Defense (DoD) service branch occupied the 25th floor of World Trade Center building 7 destroyed on September 11, 2001, as described in chapter 5, page 2 of FEMA's World Trade Center Building Performance Study.

Pre-9/11 Upgraded GPS Service Provided 243 Foot Wide Aerial Navigation Corridors
Enhanced GPS service (WAAS) now in use by the U.S. commercial aviation industry and activated 13 months prior to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, provided virtual aerial navigation corridors only 243 wide and a 95% confidence that an aircraft's true position will fall within such a corridor . Such corridors can be navigated entirely by autopilot and flight management systems scheduled in 1996 and 1998 to be contained by United and American airlines Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft like those used during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Port Authority of NY/NJ: Records For Reported WTC Renovation Work Destroyed On 9/11
Turner Construction, who supervised the 2000 demolition of the Seattle Kingdome, participated in the post-9/11 Ground Zero clean-up and performed extensive renovations within the World Trade Center towers just prior to 9/11, was in fact performing unspecified renovation work throughout the WTC complex until the very morning of September 11, 2001. The Port Authority of NY/NJ now claims that records describing such work or other projects were destroyed on September 11, 2001. A December 2000 WTC property assessment described required renovation work to be completed within one year, upon steel columns within elevator shafts of both WTC towers that was immediately pending or already underway.
Terror devastates A/E/C firms
12 employees of Turner Construction were located in an office in the third subbasement of Tower 1, the north tower. Turner had been performing renovation work in various parts of the center and had occupied various office spaces.
In 1997 Turner Construction also constructed the new headquarters for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The Indian Head Naval Surface Warfare Center, a laboratory managed by NAVSEA was described during the 1990s as the "National Center for Energetics", the "Pentagon's jargon to broadly describe explosive materials, propellants and pyrotechnics" and as the "only reliable source of aluminum nanopowders in the United States".
Pre-9/11 WTC Steel Fireproofing/Post-9/11 Ground Zero Clean-Up Contractor, Planned 2000 Seattle Kingdome Demolition
Turner Construction Company, assigned to re-fireproof the steel frames of the World Trade Center (WTC) towers during the late 1990s, who also occupied space on the 38th floor of WTC 1 and was later assigned to quickly collect and remove the wreckage of the WTC towers destroyed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, also supervised the 2000 implosion of Seattle Kingdome during this same period.

Jones, granting a Federal Bureau of Investigation motion for Summary Judgment, regarding a Freedom of Information Act civil complaint seeking records pertaining to the recovery and identification of wreckage generated by the four aircraft destroyed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Port Authority Of NY/NJ: No Records For WTC Security Company Linked To Bush Family
The following is a February 5, 2009 Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Freedom of Information response indicating that no records were located regarding the pre-September 11, 2001 World Trade Center security companies tied to Marvin Bush, brother of former U.S. president George W. Bush.
Amended Journal of 9/11 Studies Paper: Additional Non-Pilot Control Capabilities of 9/11 Planes
Included in this update of a Journal of 9/11 Studies publication is information pertaining to aspects of Performance Based Navigation systems in place prior to September 11, 2001, that can allow for highly precise GPS-based auto-pilot guidance of the Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft allegedly overtaken by foreign hijack pilots that day. Included is a GPS guided auto-pilot alternative explanation for the 330 degree descending turn performed by American Airlines flight 77 prior to its reported impact with the Pentagon building.
Also included, are accounts by United Airlines flight training personnel contained in an unclassified 9/11 Commission record, who allege that the pilots accused of hijacking commercial aircraft on September 11, 2001 were not capable of operating aircraft systems as alleged.
SEC: No Records Whatsoever Regarding Destroyed WTC 7 Investigation Files
The following is a January 28, 2009 Freedom of Information Act reply from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, within which they indicate that no responsive records were located pertaining to thousands of SEC investigative files reportedly destroyed on September 11, 2001 following the collapse of World Trade Center building 7.
Armed Forces Institute Of Pathology: Pentagon & Shanksville 9/11 Records Exempt From Disclosure
The following is a September 10, 2008 Freedom of Information Act response from the U.S. Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP), regarding a request for records establishing the process of recovery and identification of forensic evidence from the crash scenes of American Airlines flight 77 in Arlington, VA and United Airlines flight 93 in Shanksville, PA on September 11, 2001. The records were deemed exempt from disclosure under U.S.C. § 552 (b)(7)(a) and (b)(7)(c) regarding law enforcement proceedings and privacy.
However, the process of collection and identification of forensic evidence from the Ground Zero site following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 was described in detail by the then head of the New York City medical examiners office, Robert Shaler, in the 2005 book "Who They Were: Inside the World Trade Center DNA Story: The Unprecedented Effort to Identify the Missing".
NTSB: All Available NTSB 9/11 Records Released
The following is a Freedom of Information Act Reply for NTSB records that indicate what percentage of the wreckage of American Airlines flight 77 and United Airlines flight 93 was recovered from each respective crash scene and for the serial number for the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) recovered from United Airlines flight 93. Previous NTSB factual reports have described what percentage of a destroyed aircraft has been recovered from a crash scene. Within its answer, the NTSB indicates that all NTSB records pertaining to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 have been released.
WTC 7 CIA Field Office Records Exempt From Disclosure
The following is a Freedom of Information Act response from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) regarding a request for records pertaining to a description of the functions of the CIA field office once located on the 25th floor of World Trade Center Building 7.
The CIA will neither confirm or deny the existence of such records per Executive Order 12958.
FBI: No Records Pertaining To 2002 NORAD/FBI Aircraft Hijack Exercise Planned Before 9/11
The following is a Freedom of Information Act response from the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding a request for records for the June 4, 2002 NORAD Amalgam Virgo II exercise. Planned prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks, this exercise simulated the hijacking of a Boeing 757, like two of the aircraft hijacked on September 11, 2001.
Because NORAD is a binational agency of Canada and the United States, NORAD is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act.
NTSB Affirms Dubious Explanation For Pentagon "Black Box" Data File Time Stamp Discrepancy
Within a Request for Correction appeal response, the NTSB affirms its prior position regarding a Flight Data Recorder (FDR) download file attributed to the FDR recovered from the crash scene of American Airlines flight 77, containing a creation time-stamp preceding the discovery of the said FDR by over four hours.
NTSB General Counsel Gary L. Halbert:
"Finally, you state that "the 'FDR' file 'American 77' contains a 'Modified' time and date stamp of 'Thursday, September 13, 2001, 11:45:38 PM,' indicating that edits and modifications to this file were completed 4 hours and 15 minutes before the FDR reportedly belonging to American Airlines flight 77 was actually recovered," and that, "[t]herefore, the use by the NTSB of information obtained from the 'FDR' file' American 77' ... is obviously in error." This also, as previously indicated, is not an error."
9/11 Aircraft Records Case: FBI & Plaintiff Motions For Summary Judgment
The following are motions for Summary Judgment entered by Defendant Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Plaintiff Aidan Monaghan, along with the Plaintiff's opposition to Defendants motion, regarding Plaintiff's Freedom of Information Act request for source records utilized by the FBI pursuant to its positive identifications of the four aircraft involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the Flight Data Recorders (FDRs) recovered from two of them.
U.S. DOT "On-Time" Records Of Final Flights Performed By 9/11 Aircraft Apparently Unavailable
The following is correspondence received from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics and the Office of Airline Information regarding requested information of the final flights of the 4 aircraft reportedly involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Of particular interest is the final "on-time" information for American Airlines flight 77 (N644AA) and United Airlines flight 93 (N591UA). Final "on-time" information for each aircraft could eventually be compared with similar information contained by the Flight Data Recorders (FDRs) for each aircraft in order to better determine the authenticity of the information attributed to each FDR. The NTSB refuses to provide unencrypted information from these FDRs, which would also include final "on-time" information for each aircraft for flights performed before September 11, 2001.

NTSB Explains 9/11 Pentagon Flight "Black Box" File Time Stamp Discrepancy
The following is a response from the National Transportation Safety Board regarding a June 2008 Request for Correction of factual reports pertaining to American Airlines flight 77 and United Airlines flight 93.
Included is the NTSB's explanation for the flight data recorder (FDR) file for American Airlines flight 77 being completed before the FDR in question was actually recovered and comments regarding statements of interest contained within the NTSB reply.
