9/11 Activists have done a tremendous job in recent years raising public awareness regarding the discrepancies surrounding the 9/11 attacks, but have we done enough to inform congress about 9/11 or to motivate congress - the only entity with the authority to provide a complete public investigation - to re-examine 9/11?

The following is the plaintiff's response to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's April 14 , 2008 motion for dismissal of a December 4, 2007 Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Aidan Monaghan.

A motion for dismissal of a December 4, 2007 Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Aidan Monaghan, related to records pertaining to the 4 aircraft involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, was provided by F.B.I. trial attorney Stephen Buckingham on Monday April 14, 2008.

Within the defendant's motion, it is indicated that publicly available information provided by the National Transportation Safety Board and utilized as exhibits within the plaintiff's complaint for injunctive relief are disputed.

Regarding publicly available information provided by N.T.S.B. administrators and factual reports, the F.B.I. motion reads in part:

"In paragraphs 9 through 12, plaintiff characterizes specific documents attached as exhibits to the amended complaint, which speak for themselves; insofar as a response may be required, the allegations are denied."

GUANTANAMO BAY U.S. NAVAL BASE, Cuba (Reuters) - The self-described mastermind of the September 11 attacks on New York City and the Pentagon has been assigned a U.S. military lawyer to defend him in the Guantanamo war court, where he could face execution if convicted, The Miami Herald reported.

With jury deliberations resuming today in the trial of six Miami men accused of planning an attack on Chicago's Sears Tower, legal experts say the outcome will put the credibility of U.S. efforts to crack down on "homegrown terrorists" very much at stake.

The case is "more hype than evidence," Neal Sonnett, past president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, told ABCNews.com, and it's a viable argument that the government's informant "created the crime."

But serious questions of entrapment plagued the men's first trial, which resulted in a deadlocked jury last December and the acquittal of a seventh defendant.

"It's clear that these folks were just trying to get some money," legal expert Sonnett said. "They didn't have the wherewithal; they didn't have the training; they didn't have the experience; they didn't have the equipment to bring off a sophisticated plot to blow up the Sears Tower."

"I think there is a real issue of prosecutorial discretion here. Was this worth prosecuting a second time?" law professor Winick asked.

Comment: We will never know what happened that day until the People's government is compelled to re-open the 9/11 investigation with full subpoena power.

Translation: Release of all related records and testimony under oath of all persons of interest.

Complete list of outsourced contract projects performed upon World Trade Center buildings 1 and 2, at the request of the Port Authority of NY NJ or tenants of World Trade Center buildings 1 and 2 and authorized or negotiated by the Port Authority of NY NJ during the period January 1, 2001 - September 11, 2001.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Records/Information Dissemination Section, clarifies its reportedly negative search results for records confirming the positive recovery and identification of the wreckage created by the federally registered aircraft reportedly involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Contained within a March 14, 2008 "DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR ENLARGEMENT OF TIME TO RESPOND TO AMENDED COMPLAINT" with the Nevada District U.S. Court, concerning a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Mr. Aidan Monaghan (Case #: 2:07-cv-01614-RCJ-GWF) to order the production of Federal Bureau of Investigation records concerning the 4 aircraft involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick A. Rose has indicated on behalf of the FBI, that records indicating the collection and positive identification of recovered wreckage created by these federally registered aircraft, do not exist.

Defendants motion reads in part:

"Since being served with the Summons and Amended Complaint, Federal Defendant, with assistance of its attorneys, has analyzed Plaintiff’s request and conducted a search for responsive records. Federal Defendant has determined that there are no responsive records. The identities of the airplanes hijacked in the September 11 attacks was never in question, and, therefore, there were no records generated “revealing the process by which wreckage recovered by defendant, from aircraft used during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, was positively identified by defendant . . . as belonging to said aircraft . . .” (Amend Compl. Inj. Relief #15 at 1.)"

However, this claim is directly contradicted by public comments offered by Carol Carmody, Vice-Chairman National Transportation Safety Board and Marion C. Blakey, Chairman National Transportation Safety Board, who both indicated in 2002 that FBI director Robert Mueller requested NTSB assistance with 9/11 aircraft wreckage identification and that the NTSB did perform 9/11 aircraft wreckage identification analysis.

Beginning on page 22 of a Popular Mechanics 2006 book entitled Debunking 9/11 Myths, containing a forward comment by Republican presidential candidate John McCain, an attempt is made to clarify the role played by potential military aircraft intercepts during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Citing unnamed sources, part of this section reads as follows:

When contacted by Popular Mechanics, spokesmen for NORAD and the FAA clarified their remarks by noting that scrambles were routine, but intercepts were not - especially over the continental United States.

However, according to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Freedom of Information Act response dated March 3, 2008, the FAA concedes that records for the information alleged in part by Popular Mechanics' unnamed FAA source, do not exist.
