People fighting, in other words, the single biggest sin in America: laziness."

Jarek Kupsc in Frorida at the World Premiere of The Reflecting Pool

Just wanted to tell you a little bit about our Florida screening. The
show was a big success - we had a full house (the organizers told us it
was the best-attended screening of the festival). People reacted
vividly to the information and some were shocked they have not heard
anything like that before. After the screening I explained what our
sources were and answered many questions. Most comments were simply
congratulatory - nobody seemed offended in any way. I had an older
Republican woman tell me she felt sorry she'd voted for Bush.
Everybody was asking when the movie is coming out, to which I replied
that we would like to make the movie available on dvd in December.

There was no visible presence from the 9/11 Truth movement.

If the response we got from the audience was an indication how the
general public would respond to our movie, I'm very optimistic.

I'm making some final changes to the movie, including minimizing the
"flashes" and giving more focus to WTC7. We are also adding an audio

I've just written a piece with the above title. Feel free to spread it around, put it on digg, or whatever. I'm passing the torch. For now, I feel like I've done what I can on Sibel's story. If you want to send a message to National Security Whistleblowers (current AND future) and the media, I would suggest that you not let this issue die off in the blogosphere at least.

The story that says that Sibel Edmonds, “the most gagged person in US history” is now ready to risk prison in order to tell the American public what she knows? The militarization of the police forces has happened slowly, but surely, for decades. Police and the National Guard have been used to disperse protesters, break strikes, protect the wealthy against the wrath of the masses. During the Republican national Convention, 1200 protesters were rounded up and incarcerated in an unhealthy, unpleasant, toxic environment; their rights were blatantly violated.

A YouTube video called "Employees Expose FOX NEWS Distortions" contains an interesting internal memo from Fox News headquarters. The memo, dated March 23, 2004, says:

"The so-called 9/11 Commission has already been meeting. In fact, this is its eighth session. The fact that former Clinton and both former and current Bush administration officials are testifying gives it a certain tension, but this is not 'what did he know and when did he know it' stuff. Don't turn this into Watergate"

Richard Greene, host of Air America program "Clout," welcomed four guests to the show to discuss 9/11 truth, while broadcasting live from the candlelight commemoration in L.A. Guests included "Jersey Girl" Lorie Van Auken, 911truth.org's Janice Matthews, Colonel Ann Wright, who resigned her State Department post in protest of the Iraq occupation, and Gina Belafonte, daughter of outspoken justice activist and 911truth supporter, Harry Belafonte.

At the end of the program, Richard tells listeners that demanding a congressional reinvestigation of 9/11 should become a "project" of Air America. many readers are aware that other Air America hosts, such as Thom Hartmann, have also been talking 911truth lately. Bravo to Mr. Greene for placing the issue in prime time.

NEW YORK -Dan Rather said Thursday that the undue influence of the government and large corporations over newsrooms spurred his decision to file a $70 million lawsuit against CBS and its former parent company.

“Somebody, sometime has got to take a stand and say democracy cannot survive, much less thrive with the level of big corporate and big government interference and intimidation in news,” he said on CNN’s “Larry King Live.”0921 01

In the suit, filed a day earlier in state Supreme Court in Manhattan, Rather claimed CBS and Viacom Inc. used him as a “scapegoat” and intentionally botched the aftermath of a discredited story about President Bush’s military service to curry favor with the White House. He was removed from his “CBS Evening News” post in March 2005.

Just noticed this insulting column published two days ago in the Guardian, after Peter Tatchell's excellent piece appeared last week. Comments will probably be shut down soon since they usually stay open for 2 – 3 days, so hurry if you want to post. (I'd suggest being polite, reasoned and intelligent, of course.)

His final advice demonstrates how those who are trying to marginalize people who question 9/11 into an us-and-them dichotomy (his piece falls into the classical mode in this respect) are able to use the loud-mouthed "we know they are guilty and if you don't admit it you're blind or complicit" mentality some "truthers" can't restrain, to persuade others to dismiss us outright:

A mainstream journalist who yesterday urged his readers to give 9/11 truth protesters in Seattle the finger has completely reversed his position, apologized to the protesters and promised to help get the word out on full disclosure of 9/11 truth.

In our article yesterday, we chastised Seattle Post-Intelligencer blogger Ron Schott for saying 9/11 truth activists were insulting the victims, heroes and family members of 9/11 when in fact many victims, first responders and family members now lead the 9/11 truth movement.

This prompted a barrage of comments on Schott's blog which was initially removed from the website altogether.

However, yesterday evening Schott posted a retraction and an apology, stating that his "Generalization of the activists was harsh and unwarranted."

"The posting of my blog was a spur of the moment decision that I now know was done without forethought and without proper research," writes Schott.

Two Films and a Thousand Questions

This coming Tuesday marks six years since the terrorist attacks on the United States which quickly and effectively gashed open a new era on planet Earth.

Six years on, and U.S. President George W. Bush is spinning off further damning testimony from two former CIA officers that this president's government had "no logical reason whatsoever" to believe there was any so-called alluring "weapons of mass destruction" in sputtering Iraq.

It's a fact made obvious years ago by the initial utter lack of retaliatory use during the well-warned invasion on the thuggish Saddam Hussein - the carrot that led the West to war simply didn't exist.

But by that time, a new scandal had come along; as it always does for those curious or critical about the strange and secretive doings of the Bush camp and a leader who uses the title "wartime president" as a blank cheque to do anything he likes.

As less partisan, less dogmatic Canadians, we would never allow our prime minister such gall. Thankfully.

Looks like a we are change production, anyway whoever made it is pretty good, short sweet and to the point. I can feel this movement gaining momentum.
