No, not the PNAC (A Project For A New American Citizen), the evil nasty PNAC (Project For The New American Century).

For those who don't know, the PNAC's (the evil nasty one) founder is Bill Kristol, who is also the Founder and Editor for the Weekly Standard.

Nice find

Why doesn't the author name who the AP reporter is? They treat it almost as if its a cutesy little side note. If this unnamed AP reporter had any balls (figuratively speaking) they would go on record with their beliefs and the facts which support the same.

One possibility (though an unlikely one)

is that this AP reporter is an invention of the Standard. Remember, for Standard readers, saying an AP reporter thinks Bush is behind 9/11 is like saying the mainstream media were spawned in hell from the devil's own anus. The passage from which this sentence is drawn also references another reporter who routinely wears a Che Guevara t-shirt.

That is, in the context of the article the AP reporter is supposed to represent liberal media bias in the coverage of Bush's illegal wars.

maybe its

public pressure from PNAC(evil) on the admin to attack Iran?

If we follow the logic from PNAC neocons being part of the power structure above the president, and we also follow that they had a hand in planning and orchestrating the "new pearl harbor", then based on their own public documents Iran and Syria were next, after attacking Iraq. One might conclude that they can use the media and unnamed sources from the "AP" to threaten (blackmail) the admin to do more of their bidding.

Might be a stretch but at this point I think anything is possible in the new Amerika
