A producer who works with Charlie Sheen has passed along this note:
"Charlie has had talks with the people involved with Loose Change Final Cut, but has in no way made any official commitment to narrating this film." - Erik Fleming.
Just got the notice this a.m., May 21, 2007.

His name is already attached to the project, so he may as well. Besides, everyone knows he is a truther so I don't see why he wouldn't do it. Crossing my fingers! LC doesn't need him to do it but it would be nice.

If 9/11was the justification for this war then you can not and should not separate the two… never! A life is life, no matter if it is a civilian, soldier, Iraqi or whatever. You have to look at the total number of human beings that are being affected by this power siege. People need to open their eyes and their minds about the devastation as whole, because if all you can focus on is the date of September 11th you are in fact ignoring the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Who cares if he narrates it or not? It's not like we need a hollywood celebrity to give our movement credibility. If he decides to do it, cool. If not, maybe David Ray Griffin himself should do it. He is afterall the fact checker of this project. His soothing voice might give it an extra air of believability.

CS doesn't do the narrative, but if he does, cool. I think I actually prefer that Dylan does the voice-over, but whatever - as long as the audio is normalized I am happy. :P

He sounds like too much of a kid. I recently asked my roommate if he would watch LC Final Cut when it came out and he responded, "Not if that kid narrates it." My point is that because he sounds unprofessional, it takes away a little bit of credibility from the movie.
In other words, if Charlie narrates, then it will sound like a "real" documentary rather than just some movie a few college kids put together. Dont get me wrong, I love what Dylan and everyone else has done for the movement... I would just rather have a more professional sounding narration.

by that logic maybe we should get Bill Curtis, or James Earl Jones, or maybe that deep voiced movie announcer guy! :P

I guess as long as the movie and the movement have his vocal support then that is all we really need from him. It might actually be a good idea to have a non-celebrity do the voiceover---less critics that way--maybe. who knows?! I am just happy as heck to see the movie being made and going out on wide release!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!! GO LC FINAL CUT!!!!!!!! Wake em up!!!!!

Charlie Sheen, or his handlers, may have been trying to ensure that Dylan and Korey would not overstate his involvement in the project when they appear on the View this Thursday.
I'm sure they know that if its not going to be him, they should find someone with at least some public status.
Now ya got me fantasizing about Cuban pulling out at the last minute.
Won't matter. LC is big because of the internet, and the number of copies that have been handed out and sold. Even without a theatrical release the movie will have a big impact on the movement.
Unless the movie is a lot worse than people are predicting it will be, I can't seen any path to failure.

Come on, we already owe Charlie Sheen tremendous gratitude! He
spoke-up on the mainstream media over a year ago when it was extremely risky & unpopular, & helped get the ball rolling bit-time!!!
I'm sure celebrities like Sheen who broached 9/11 truth (especially back then), were subjected to serious threats & intimidation, illegal phone taps, computer taps, frame-ups, severe smearing by the media, retaliatory tax audits & accusations of wrongdoing, you name it! (They even joined forces with Sheen's ex-wife & accused him of being a pedophile & kook, etc.)
I hope Sheen can narrate Loose Change Final Cut, but if for some reason(s) he cannot, they'll get another extremely competent person to take his place.

Does anyone know what the LC guy's official response was to Mark Cuban's comments on his O'Reilly interview wherein he basically ridiculed LooseChange - called it "crazy propaganda ....in the shadows" that needs to be exposed so it can be thoroughly "refuted" - and at the very end he even referred to it as "the enemy"... !? Supposedly they are in post-production, which means they are just editing it at this point. I think Sheen's role as narrator would have been already complete or at least mostly complete.

but if he never commited to this (and I assume we can take this prodicer at his word) why did we all think he had signed on to the project? who reported this as a done deal--anyone? and if no one did, then why did everyone think it was a done deal? and why the LC guys never correct anyone who assumed talked about it as if it were a done deal?
and why am I even hesitating to say who I think may have reported this in a way to make everyone believe it was a done deal? could it be because this would not be the first time said person has reported things that turn out not to be exactly true, like Hugo Chavez's intention to launch an international investigation into 9/11?
