What Was The Name Of The Fire Commander Larry Silverstein Was Referring To?

"I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

Has anyone contacted the FDNY, or Larry Silverstein to try and find out the name of that "fire commander" to try and get a statement from he/she?

It might be Daniel Nigro

He was Chief of Operations and was put in charge when another fire chief died, so he would be a logical choice.

He said: "The biggest decision we had to make was to clear the area and create a collapse zone around the severely damaged [WTC Building 7]. A number of fire officers and companies assessed the damage to the building. The appraisals indicated that the building’s integrity was in serious doubt."

Obviously, I don't agree with his assessment it was severely damaged, but we can let that go for now.

All the debunkers claim it was him for sure, but this appears to be based just on this quote and ones like it. I haven't seen a statement by him or Silverstein stating 100% that he was on the other end of the phone.

Thank you...

I have two calls into two different Daniel Nigros.

Well...

I just talked to Daniel Nigro. He was put in charge of the fire department that morning after Peter Ganci was killed. He was at WTC7 at the time of collapse, and does not believe it was Controlled Demolition. However, he says he did not talk to Larry Silverstein that day, and doesn't know who did. He is now retired.

If the "debunkers" are putting him forward as the fire commander Larry Silverstein was referring to, tell them they have been "debunked".

So who did Larry speak to?

I...

Was looking up Larry Silverstein's relationships to Israel's elite, and I found this...

That gets into great detail about his relationship with Sharon and Netanyahu, but there were some interesting statements...

In the afternoon of September 11, the Fire Department informed him that the smaller 7 World Trade Center building, which he owned, was going to collapse.

And...

He was terrified for the fate of his children, Roger and Lisa, who sometimes worked in his offices at 1 WTC.

I think it's possible that if the buildings were brought down by Controlled Demolition, Larry Silverstein had nothing to do with it.

Too funny...
