Davis was NOT psyched, you could see right through her fake smile. Our rep here (Thomas Petri-R) in WI pulled the same ignorant line. We grilled him on his voting record. The dude didn't even know he voted for the Real ID act. Then he had the audacity to say the Patriot Act doesn't hurt our freedoms. These people are just clueless zombies living in a dream world. We yelled inside job in his face and his eyes were just empty. You could tell he was scared of us because we weren't kissing his ass and were calling him out in front of everybody else in the room. These people really seem to hate all of us. All these Reps know is what their staff tells them or what they see on Faux or CNN. They are so out of touch with reality it is no wonder why America is so fucked up.

Nothing will change until every Congress traitor's phones ring off the hook day and night from people demanding they come clean on the 9/11 cover-up. You can bet most of them, if not all, know what really happened.

I actually started crying after I watched this. Can you imagine the effect it would have if this kind of well-coordinated, documented effort took place every time an elected official appeared in public?

Local groups everywhere should watch this, learn, and DO IT.

Call her office (not sure if DC or local), maybe talk to whomever was there from her staff at this meeting, remind of her committment to look into it, and find out who is assigned to look into this. If nobody, talk to chief of staff until you can find out a name of a staffer whom you can work with. Then, become this person's biggest help in getting information, being a resource, and so forth. She will listen to her staff!

This press conference is indicative of the government's attitude and approach to the 9/11 truth seekers. Susan Davis is scared to death to be a part of this movement or admit openly that she believes this. Elected officials are NOT our advocates nor our representatives; they are politicians holding down a job and covering their asses until the next election. My daughter is the one who holds up the sign and walks out of this press conference. I am so proud of her passion and conviction. More young people should be involved in exposing this gigantic travesty. It is their future that will be most adversely effected. Keep up the good fight, Abby!!!!

San Diego 9/11 Truth did a fantastic job! They did what they could. It's very creepy how that congress woman blew all those people off like that.
I swear, some of the representatives in congress act as if their lives were threatened; or maybe the total opposite?

She didn't want to know, did she? She did little to reduce the suspicion that many of us have that Congress and the Senate have been passively complicit in the cover-up.
Perhaps we should not be surprised; after all, if the truth about 911 were to become official, there would be a catastrophic financial meltdown in the industrialised world, from which most senators and congresspersons would suffer greatly.
As David Griffin has said, there would be only one thing that would be worse: the global ecological meltdown if the neocons maintain control. Exposing the truth about 911 is thus of critical importance to the world, let alone the United States.

Some excellent comments here, the ones that point out that this woman is absolutely empty. She is a complete slave of the power system that defines her ego. To admit 9/11 as an inside job is psychologically impossible for these people. It would mean denying everything they define themselves as, the entire system that they so pride themselves on having wormed their way into. As some other comments said, you could see the empty, automated hostility in her eyes.

Have NO doubt you guys, when dealing with Davis type of officials, whatever you are saying to them, while you are talking of logic and evidence and research materials - every second of that the following tape is running in their heads: ... KOOK KOOK KOOK KOOK KOOK KOOK ...

Someone posted this video at Portland indymedia, with the kinda weird title "For Anarchists." I guess us 9/11 Truthers wasting our time with this kind of thing while there are REAL problems in the world is upsetting to the anarchists -- you know, the ones who really want to stop American Imperialism while we sit on our Truther asses eating Pringles.

I'm too mad right now to comment, but I encourage others to do so. (You can post anonymously, but posts that don't toe the party line will probably be relegated to the "discussion" page.) I particularly encourage anti-authoritarian/anarchist Truthers to offer some insight.

As has already been said, very impressive. If they didn't come across as calm and clear-headed they could have been easily dismissed. But they were also direct and insistent. Those guys that came up to her afterward were very good, too. And they all asked her for something which is key... At the end you always have to ask for something. "Congresswoman Davis, will you ________ ?" This needs to be posted as the new standard for people confronting their own reps. When you tell your rep what they voted on, it reminds them that they are being watched. Even if she doesn't become a truth crusader, if a new investigation is voted on she'll think more than once about voting against it. Again, great work!
