9/11 Probe Question Will Pass To Voters

Burlington voters on Town Meeting Day will be the first in the country to vote 'yes' or 'no' on reopening the investigation into what happened Sept. 11, 2001.
As of Jan. 4, a local group had gathered 1,240 of the approximately 1,350 signatures (5 percent of registered voters) required to put the question on the ballot, and a member of the group, Burlington attorney Frank Haddleton, expressed confidence Monday that they now have more than enough signatures.
The question would ask the Vermont congressional delegation to "demand a new, thorough, and truly independent forensic investigation" to answer "the many questions" the group says remain about what happened the day planes commandeered by terrorists smashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
In September, the council unanimously passed a resolution promising they would honor the Vermont tradition of allowing such questions if they garner enough signatures, "whether or not they like the questions or agree with the petitioners."
Monday, the council agreed unanimously that they wouldn't vote on putting the 9/11 question on the March ballot after City Attorney Joe McNeil said the September resolution had put the council views on record and that the question would be on the ballot if the signatures were submitted by Jan. 25.
The group said in a letter to the council that it doesn't "advance any particular alternative theory" about what happened Sept. 11, 2001, but thinks the day's aftermath, including wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, are so serious that a new investigation is warranted "to get answers to hundreds of questions raised by independent researchers, members of the intelligence community and family members of 9/11 victims."
The attacks, the letter said, have been cited as justifications for the wars, "wiretapping, the USA PATRIOT Act, torture, indefinite detentions without charges, and the recently passed Military Commission Act that suspends the writ of habeas corpus. We maintain that until the serious, credible questions about 9/11 are addressed, the government has no right to ask us to compromise the Constitution or engage in any new wars again terrorism."
The group's spokesman, local author and musician Marc Estrin, said the ballot item would be the first of its sort in the United States.
"We're all very pleased that the council voted not to interfere and let it go forward if we come up with the signatures," Haddleton said.

I don't think this is satire at all. This is exactly what the self-proclaimed debunkers actually believe. They LIKE lying in order to steal and kill. They DO hate Arabs and Muslims, and they ARE trying to frame them for crimes they did NOT commit.
My advice to Stool Fink is to actually tone it down just a bit because otherwise his work WILL be mistaken for satire. He should continue to post everywhere he can with his racism and hatred, AND the links to the "debunking" sites. That way people will know what the "debunkers" are REALLY about.

I just voted and 56% say "No, there should not be a new investigation." Something is fishy. I've debated even hard core official theory advocates who say we still need a new investigation.
Saying we need a new investigation doesn't mean you're a conspiracy theorist, and most people realize this. If 36% think 9/11 was an inside job, then easily 70% are for a new investigation!

Something about the states of Vermont and New Hampshire - they are always at the forefront of patriotic movements and actions.

We should see if their congress members answer yes to this request by the voters, since it appears to be implied that their "representatives" can say no to the request.
Also, while the word "demand" sounds wonderful, we all know that an congressmember(s)' bill can never really be described as a "demand" no matter how strong the wording in the bill is.
Every bill ever proposed in congress is subject to a million, shall I say, "vicissitudes." A low percentage of bills ever proposed, IF this one does actually get formally proposed, ever even make it to committee, much less to the floor vote.
I guess we can say this effort by Vermonters is a wonderful symbolic effort, and that, in and of itself, is most helpful to the 9-11 truth movement.

There are still town meetings in those states. The city councils have some authority over their decisions, but it's tenuous. They pass a lot of bullshit backroom dealings throughout the rest of the year anyway, though.

Questions such as why did the ISI fund lead hijacker mohammed atta in the weeks leading up to the attacks, this evidence COMPLETLY contradicts the theory that it was 19 hijackers along with a bearded man in a cave directing them and totally undermines the "war on terror" as being against a rougue network, because it means there was a state sponsor, this is only one of the very many unanswered and dirsturbing questions.

We know a HELL of a lot, even without forcing a gun in the faces of possible perps (through the legal system via subpoenas, that is), enough to understand that the system's totally corrupt and anyone in power who can actually oppose it doesn't have very long before someone murders him or her. Who's going to be doing the investigating? Hasn't anyone learned from OKC and other fizzled-out investigations where it's TOTALLY FUCKING OBVIOUS that there was massive, not just government but broad-spectrum "establishment" involvement and scripting at every level, even decades in advance? And NOTHING HAPPENS because everyone in power is hand-picked for their jobs, which go a long way beyond "public service", i.e. to step on our faces on a daily basis. The few rogue honest and innocent individuals spend a year or two there and then drop out when they find out what's going on? So why do people aware of the facts on 9/11 think this same system is going to somehow come to their aid, EVEN IF a new commission is established? There is simply no precedent for such an action that I'm aware of...can you think of any? But there are plenty of precendents for rebellion and system abandonments.

What's even funnier is when you watch the video clip of WTC 7 collapsing and then think of someone like Mark Roberts trying to desperately justify it as the result of fire and the few beams that wrecked the front facade of the building.
I have a close friend who works at Verizon, right across the street from WTC 7. He told me there wasn't a scratch on their building which was adjacent. Even he said several of his collegues were astounded that the 47 story building collapsed so neatly without jeopardizing the surrounding buildings.

If you live in the New
If you live in the New England area, head on up to Burlington for a day before the 25th and pass out fliers and DVDs. We can own all the online polls we want but it won't make any difference if the people in Burlington don't vote for a new investigation. I'll be heading up there this week if anyone knows a good place to go to hand things out.
If its impractical to get to Burlington, send the group that is doing this some money for signs (1000, four colors, double sided varnish runs around $800) or whatever else they need. We can win all the online polls in the world and it won't make a bit of difference if we don't have solid legal actions.
This is an ideal test run for something that can be repeated throughout the country at the local level. Pushing for this kind of action would strengthen local groups and bring far more people into the fold. If we can get this through, its a start. I hope that, following the vote, the people running this will write up a good case study and sites like 911Blogger will spread it.

I should also add that I have been giving a number of copies of 9/11 Mysteries to co-workers. Where there used to be nebulous opinions about 9/11 has now changed into rigorous and healthy skepticism of the official story. In spreading 9/11 Truth, I realize people have busy lives. They work long hours, they have bills to pay, they have kids at home. But planting these seeds of curiosity has been enough not to necessarily create raging activists, but to build sentiment.
The Vermont story shows that with new legislative action being taken to even bring 9/11 Truth into the forefront, the sentiment we have sparked among non-activists is sure to be steered in a positive direction. It is contagious. They will support us. Soon, the mainstream media will be covering it as if it always knew. They have an economic stake in it too, as our numbers continue to grow.
