Yes he said what you quoted, but you are omitting everything else he said. As Orwell says, you are lying. You are trying to create your own reality by ignoring 99% of the facts.

Resorting to taking a small portion of the facts to claim they represent the whole truth is a fraud.

To say he is doing this for money is an insult. What about the billions of dollars being spent on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars? I wonder who gets rich off of that. What about the billions of dollars taken from Iraqi oil? What about the millions of dollars that the CIA made off of insider trading by betting on the exact airlines that would be targeted on 9/11? What about Silversteen's record insurance payout? And you have the nerve to accuse him of making money off of 9/11?

Indeed. This is an oft-repeated allegation. It’s a silly straw-man which is why the press loves it. The Chimp could no more "organize" 911 than say something semi-intelligent, which is to say, he couldn’t. It's a non-starter.

The chimp is a puppet. Granted, he pulls a certain number of strings, but he is merely a "go-between". He may very well have endorsed the op but he certainly didn't play any roll in its execution. The first rule of "intelligence" is the "contracting out" of dirty deeds to other entities. Even if he played a part, he didn't play a part. See the logic?

These are not complicated ideas, yet most 911 spokespersons fail to explain them. Again, no gov official in his right mind would do something himself which he could confer unto other, "lesser" beings.

In light of these silly straw men arguments that "Bush planted the bombs!", 911 seems to me a tremendous way of explaining to people how states actually function. Without absolving politicians and bureaucrats of their essential culpability, people have to understand that they are not the only players.

It's a symbiotic relationship, like lizard and slime. Power lies not only with the state but with the massive concentrated capital rotting away in the accounts of corporate and banking elites, which is then "personified" by cretins like Bush. The more concentrated the capital, the more difficult it is to distinguish between these two entities. Eventually you have fascism: the merger of state and corporate power.

The problem is that people associate “fascism” with the burning of books. No, elites learn like the rest of us. Better to saturate the mind with mountains of useless information that burn books. Better to pimp Britney Spears than kill Cindy Sheehan. It’s devolution, see? Friendly Fascism. Gitmo is a mind control experiment, not just for its inhabitants, but for you. They want you to know that they’re willing to torture. They want you to know that the NSA is watching you. Why censor when people will self-censor?

Thanks for fleshing it out, Danse. You're right -- most people think of a fascist leader as being cunning and Machiavelian, which is cancelled out by a mental image of Chucklenuts.

He's actually more useful to the elites, because he's ignorant, cowardly, incurious, and easily distracted. As long as they rear him as a stubborn preschooler, they can create his reality and manipulate his responses, all the while convincing him that he's the one in control.

When I'm taking on a newbie I always say right off the bat that Bush was most likely out of the loop on 9/11, and I don't know what he knows at this point, but he knows enough to recite the cover up lines.

We're all being psyopped. I need a new literary allusion or cultural reference to describe our situation because the standard ones have been used so often they're losing their strength.
