That wasn’t a nuke, I was listening to Alex Jones the other day and one of the callers was the father of a marine or something who knew what was up with that ammo dump or whatever it was that exploded, and he said that "mushroom cloud" was the result of just a butt ton of C4. Any explosive will make a "mushroom cloud" all it is is a vacuum created by a blast being refilled very quickly with dust etc. A freaking grenade will create a small "mushroom cloud", it's not exclusive to nukes.

Yes, I saw this on TV here last week, not the fucking mushroom cloud though, they didnt show that. :-|

A friend of mine who served in the first Gulf War, and was in the Navy for 20+ years this video. He said he doesn't think it's a nuclear weapon, and pointed out that most munitions create a "mushroom" effect. He said if it was a nuclear weapon, the EMP would have knocked out the camera, and the shockwaves would have certainly shaken it. He could be wrong, but he could also be right.

It was suggested in a post that the explosion in question could not have been a tactical nuke because there was no electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) to 'knock-out' the cameras filming this event. Well it should be remembered that the Enola Gay, the B-29, that dropped the bomb on Nagasaki wasn't knocked out of the air by EMP! You can verify this by doing a search on "nuclear emp" in Wikipedia. For small nuclear detonations, such as tactical nukes, the resultant EMP in magnitude enough to do this would have a very short range, 1/4 mile or less. All manner of attempts to discredit this bit of news have arised and why not? This has the potential to be far more damaging to the Bush administration than anything that has occured on his watch yet - yes anything. We are talking about storing nuclear devices in a foreign country, in a war zone. For what?

There has been a steady campaign, as well, to paint this explosion as some other kind of very large bomb. Here I provide links to video evidence showing what happens when the largest non-nuclear bomb ever created goes off, the MOAB. You will notice that the MOAB, unlike the bomb that went off in Iraq, does not bathe the entire landscape in white light, which is a form of electromagnetic radiation (thermal radiation, or heat, is not the same color). As well, it does not mushroom, this the biggest non-nuclear device ever devised. The last link, below, shows the first ever H-bomb detonation, in which we see the brilliant flash first (clearly visible even in broad daylight), as in the Iraq videos.

The Iraqi video is useful in that it shows a much further angle, showing just how much of the city is bathed in light and the Marines' video is useful in that we see concern about fallout in regards to wind directions and that the sirens did not go off until the mushroom went off.

its sad, thats pretty much all they get over there. ive talked with a few soldiers before and they all say the same thing when i ask them about what kind of media they get there. its company line all the way. it was hilarious, one time a recruiter came up to me(theres a recruiters office literally 3 blocks from my house) and i asked him why they censor so much news and only allow far right talk radio. he didnt know what the hell to say. i told him i would come back to enlist as soon as they starting leveling with the soldiers.

there might have been a time when this type of censorship ensured more "patriotism" and support for "our troops". But these "patriots" have betrayed America and now it just boils down to Bush being the military's paymaster, so he forbids any media disloyal to him - and that's a scandal!

Very intelligent counter-offer to the recruiter, Chris. The quality and real STRENGTH of our nation's [honest] defense and long term security would be insurmountable.... should such a condition permeate the Chain of Command.

living just blocks from one, i can tell you, recruiters are like vultures. when i was younger, like about 19,20, they used to anger me. i would get belligerent with them. now i just reason with them. i dont get disrespectful, but i tell them that they are not being fully honest with the people they try to recruit,and i ask them about the censorship,groupthink and other problems i have with the military. some of them get pissed and call you a hippy/liberal/whatever, but some of them get it. i had one tell me, i feel just like you do, im just doing my job. not much you can say to that.

Recruiters are well trained to deal with citizen's derision and "hippy flack" (granola bars and trail mix), but they are not trained so well to deal with a direct challenge for the recruiter to square their own [new and improved] propaganda against the very oath they've taken.

They can not, and that's exactly why We The People will take back our own Army by appealing to the real boot wearers with reason, appeals to genuine bravery, and even love (the hippie's very message from day one. Now that's irony).

this brave gentleman has first-hand, eye-witness testimony about both pre and post-collapse of WTC 7. He also testifies to the raging sub-basement inferno which melted his boots. He is also walking evidence of the fact that finely-particulated toxic dust was everywhere and that the gov't did nothing to protect him from it.

I agree that Avery would do well to not ask leading questions because it does indeed leave his movie vulnerable to critics who can attack the veracity of his movie by questioning his motives, which is why I prefer 911 Mysteries to Loose Change.

But, however you slice it, Mr. Bartmer's testimony is quite powerful in that he was a former Bush supporter, he is a bona fide 911 hero, and he is justifiably enraged that his government allowed him and others to go into that toxic soup without adequate protection, basically sentencing them to a lifetime of debilitating disease or a quicker death, depending on the severity of the illness.

The testimony of first responders and rescue workers who have been wronged and lied to is powerful stuff indeed and it needs to be NEWS, worthy of CNN Headline status.

However, if Britney is indeed pregnant again, I won't be holding my breath . . .
