What is it that went wrong?

I have a feeling something went quite wrong on that day, ie not according to plan.
I dont mean Shanksville and all that, but WTC7.
I mean, it cant have been part of a master plan to bring it down as obvious as it was done, i think.
So, what should have happend? Another plane? Hm, i dont think so. What else ?
Im sure people here have a few ideas to offer.

It certainly was obvious. Not only was it filmed and broadcast (before the media blackout), but Silverstein's statement on PBS?
Perhaps it was (is) a test to see what people's (including scientists) overall reaction would be.

I think something went wrong. Something had to be covered up , and that was not forseen.
Cause in some ways , WTC7 as a 'missed target' doesnt make sense at all i think. Why choose WTC7??

I have often wondered what went wrong with WTC7? It clearly is a very devastating "smoking gun" as evidenced by its total omission from the 9/11 Commission Report.
I've also wondered about the numerous cameras that were trained on the building. At least three from the different angles I have seen. It appeared that all three cameras were mounted on tripods... eagerly anticipating the coming event.
I've also heard that Rudy Guiliani commented on air that he knew WTC7 was about to fall.
So much mystery surrounds this building. It really makes one think.

I'm not sure why you would rule out another plane; seems likely enough to me.
I can think of countless other scenarios, none of them too satisfying. Maybe Silverstein's been double crossed and will end up taking a fall? Maybe the controlled demo was meant to be fairly obvious for some reason- like, they're making sure their media outlets are all under control - - denying the obvious - - before they go on to the next step? Maybe it was that famously poor inter-agency communication that was to blame... one set of spooks failed to make it CLEAR to the other set that bldg 7 needs a plane to hit it!

leaves me with nothing, sigh.
i think WTC7 should become a synonyme for 'mysterious' and 'dark thing some people dont want you to know'.
