Is There A Publisher in the House? 911 Truth Comic

I'm considering publishing a 911 Truth comic. It would be in the form of a graphic novel, tentatively titled
"911: Facts and Mysteries - A Non-Fiction Graphic Account"

Are any of you connected, whether directly or otherwise, with a publisher that does graphic novels/comic books? I am attempting to find a way to accomplish this project in a high quality fashion, without a huge budget. Any help in this direction would be most appreciated.

Please note: I am aware of cafepress.com and lulu.com

Very ambitious project

Of course the OV version had big $$$, pro publishers & artists lined up for it. Maybe some non-profit would take on our truth comic?

Yes, Anon...

... I agree. And I'm not saying I would need to be the only artist, or even be the artist at all! My main concern is that we create a reputable, effective product, with wide distribution. I know the means to do so are out there, be it a non-profit or generous truthers... it just needs to be pulled together soon.

we can definately help pull

we can definately help pull this together, there are a lot of people out there that could come together to help something like this.

An Awesome idea

I got a "comic book creator" program for my computer and started playing with images of some of the main suspects but haven't done much--I think non-fiction is a good idea but at the same time wouldn't it be fun to use our imaginations like the 9/11 commission did to dramatize some of the background? Maybe there could be a contest where difefrent truthers dramatize their ideas of what actually happened in comic book form online. Anyway I think 9/11 truth has been low on creativity--I understand that we want to be taken seriously, but I don't mean creative like the no-planers' coyote and road-runner "evidence"... more like recreating certain events like what the hell was going on between the FAA and NORAD (NEADS) ? Reading DRG'd books I get totally lost on the different versions and have thought that if someone were to do TV style "dramatic re-creations" of the different versions, the absurd aspects would come across powerfully, especially in the case where supposedly people sit around for minutes on end not reporting things--what COULD they have been doing? Listening to music? Making coffee? Twiddling their thumbs? the trick is to make these so funny that people will pass them along just for entertainment purposes, thus reaching people who are turned off by the normal "conspiracist" approach...

Thanks for the thoughts, Real Truther...

My vision of this project is to present the KNOWN facts (based on the 911 timeline and other reputable sources) in an appealing, easy to look at and understand way. In addition, I would point out the glaring questions of 911, and the ongoing complicity of the government and mass media to suppress them.
I would include sources for every claim made.

I'm not interested in conjecture... perhaps someone else could move forward with that angle.

I believe the absurdity of the official version will become apparent, without any attempt to be funny on my part.

Totally behind you on that count...

Don't get me wrong--I think it would be great to have a no-nonsense and yes, footnoted and referenced graphic novel to contrast with the purely bogus 9/11 Commission story (they based their conspiracy on the "testimony" of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed given to them by the CIA, i.e. they didn't even question him themselves...)

On the other hand, I think we also need to show the fun side of 911T--I mean, building 7 alone... the potential for laughs at LS's expense is profound. Honestly, we need to fight some of these ridiculous facts by just setting the example that they should be laughed at because they are laughable. Works for the Daily Show, as I hate to admit to myself... :)

The comic book idea is a great one.

Would be great to have an online version as well. Maybe even a cartoon version (I know, one step at a time).

I've been impressed with the fearlessness exhibited by Boondocks Creator Aaron McGruder. While his main focus is comedy, I love how he manages to weave some 9/11 Truth in! I wonder if he would be interested in supporting a project like this?

The following clip is a brilliant example of his sharp wit.

"Excuse me everyone... Jesus was Black, Ronald Reagan was the devil and the government is lying about 911."

Priceless!

Thanks, Chris...

...I'd seen that Boondocks episode. Great stuff.

I planned on offering a downloadable version of the book.

An animated version of the book would be fantastic. Great thought.

911 Truth Comic Book... Anyone Interested in Helping?

First of all, I don't like the term "comic book" in relationship to this project... but a better term escapes me at the moment. "Graphic Novel" would be closer... accept this will not be a novel.

Are there any professional artists besides myself among our membership that might want to contribute some work to this endeavor? Any publishers or anyone connected with same that could give a hand in making this happen?

Anyone interested in making a cash contribution of some sort, once I set up the site, to pay for the publishing an other expenses? Contributors will receive certain "incentives" including the book itself, a t-shirt, etc.

I'm still trying to pull this all together... if I had some help it will be far more likely to come to fruition.

what is the name of this "comic book creator" software?
