FBI: 150 Years Required To Process And Release All 9/11 Investigative Records Via FOIA

The Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada recently explained that processing for release via the Freedom of Information Act, all records contained within the FBI investigative file regarding the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 would require one hundred and fifty years.

This information was contained within a communication under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 408, pursuant to "Aidan Monaghan v. Department of Justice, Case No. 2:09-cv-00608-KJD-LRL".

Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada:

"The first request (or sub-request) in the lawsuit is for "records generated or obtained regarding the FBI investigation of the 4 aircraft hijacked and destroyed at the World Trade Center in New York city, NY, the Pentagon building in Arlington, VA and Shanksville, PA during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001." This appears to be a request for all records from the FBI's investigative file for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. As I am sure you can appreciate, the FBI's investigative file on the significant and horrific events of September 11, 2001 is extremely large. Indeed, it is so large that the FBI conservatively estimates it would take well over 150 years to process your request for records from the investigative file."

Maybe try the tapes again?

He asked what documents you would still like to obtain. I'd try for the for all the confiscated video tapes again or are they classified for "national security". (whatta crock).

great work Aidan, you are a relentless patriot.

peace

"Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -- one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

David Rockefeller, Memoirs, 2002

Only 2.5 pages per hour?!!

Let’s see… 600 pages per month is 20 pages per day, or 2.5 pages per hour. That’s pretty slow, even by government standards. You’d think the FBI could hire a few more people to help that poor guy at the FOIA desk.

You might also point out to Attorneys Brower and Rose that FRCP Rule 408(b) provides an exception to the admissibility of offers to compromise:

(b) Permitted uses. This rule does not require exclusion if the evidence is offered for purposes not prohibited by subdivision (a). Examples of permissible purposes include proving a witness's bias or prejudice; negating a contention of undue delay; and proving an effort to obstruct a criminal investigation or prosecution.

Thanks for your phenomenal work, Aidan.

That's

exactly what I was thinking.

Dudes need to hire some students.

...

I would ave them get started so the next generation two generations can see what we weren't told about 9/11. Just like JFK, anything that might embarrass or point a finger to the Feds, lock it up generations.

Visit http://dotheordersstillstand.blogspot.com/ for analysis and commentary on 9/11. For NASCAR News, visit http://www.atthetracknews.blogspot.com/

If it takes that long, they better start soon

This could be out of a novel of Kafka.

Aidan, you are doing a fabulous job. At some point this is going to attract media attention, and then all hell (hopefully) breaks loose.

Keep the good work going!

150 years? sounds like they

150 years? sounds like they are just trying to stall for time.

150 years to get this documentaion, why wait?

Since this documentation would point with iron clad proof to the fact that the CIA working with FBI HQ agents had intentionally allowed the attacks on 9/11 to take place, this is just an obvious attempt to hide this information from the Americans people so no one is criminally prosecuted for these crimes.

But they goofed!

With the documentation that is already available, anyone can put this entire story back together again, it just takes a few years.

But is has already been done.

See www.eventson911.com

I guess they better get

I guess they better get started.

An important investigation should be thoroughly indexed??

Aidan's request is pretty clear in my mind. "records generated or obtained regarding the FBI investigation of the 4 aircraft hijacked and destroyed .."

How is this top legal official conflating that will ALL FBI documentation on this 9/11?

But more to the point, the simple fact that this investigation documentation is not properly categorized and indexed in a way that is quickly and efficiently retrieved is an outrage. This is pretty basic stuff for any organization never mind America's premier law enforcement agency.

This apparent utter incompetence in such a basic investigative file management on such a critical file is in and of itself is a worthy candidate for a lawsuit for example, on behalf of, or by the families and victims.

This is an "in your face" power play.

Great work Aidan. They have no incentive to work hard to reveal the complicity of the perpetrators within the US Government. This is their way of saying F**k You!

150 Years Worth Of Records & No Evidence Against Bin Laden

Thanx all.

Aidan, did you contact them? What happened?

The letter's dated June 16. I’m just curious if you spoke or met with them, and what was the result.

Also, I should’ve mentioned that Rule 408 is a Federal Rule of Evidence, not Civil Procedure. Big difference.
It's pretty pathetic for a U.S. Attorney to get them mixed up.
