According to NIST, in WTC 7, "at any given location the combustibles needed about 20 minutes to be consumed" (1). How could a 20-minute fire exposure in any way weaken fireproofed construction steel?

The following ridiculous exchange took place in the NIST conference call last December (I have emphasized the most ridiculous parts):

Bill Grosshandler: "The second thing is, don't forget that once the fire front passes, you still have a lot of -- lot of heat there. So the cool down period following the consumption of most of the fuel is still very, very hot and will last for a couple hours. So, THAT ADDS TO THE HEATING OF THE STRUCTURE. "

Shyam Sunder: "Yeah, and that's a very good point, Bill. The fire front moves, but the heated elements DON'T COOL DOWN."

Sigh. Of course, a cooling steel does not experience further temperature increase!

how did that cause the rest of the building to collapse when there were 47 undamaged massive steel core columns running all the way up?
Why was there molten steel under all three buildings weeks later?

Okay---you got me--and frankly i dont like it when others post items that aren't relevant either!
So, I apologize. However, I do not know how to "post news" myself and I sent it to REprehensor and hadn't seen anything so i thought i'd just add it in the comment section of the last bit of news posted at the time.

Since then, I asked REp. why it wasn't covered yet---what i was missing out on here and he responded to me. And, I guess I have to agree with him. This story really breaks down to a drug charge. HOWEVER, I personally think it is important to follow up on this. I mean for supposedly selling less than an ounce i think earlier that night, the leader of our WAC group has his house broken in by the SWAT team? What the heck!? Doesn't that seem a bit excessive? I just really doubt that if someone else sold a little weed they would be faced with similar situation. I COULD BE WRONG but i just thought it seems he is being targeted for more than a little weed. They way in which these "professionals" handeled themselves while in this man's home---raiding it with two children sleeping in bed pointing guns at them and so on---I just think maybe it is good for us to watch each others backs. You know, look out for each other! I'm not saying anything about pot here. But, a WAC leader has been treated horribly and i think as truthers, we should at least be aware of it. that is all.

Sorry to offend anyone by filling up the endless space provided here with something that does not pertain to the topic posted. Didn't think it was that big of a crime. Next time, i will do my best to figure out how to post news myself.
