The author is saying that the strain of anthrax is so sophisticated that even Ft. Detrick could not have created it much less a lone scientist.

not Ivins, not Fort Detrick- then who???

this article is claiming Ivins couldn't have done it- but it's also saying it couldn't have come from Fort Detrick. Given that this is Murdoch's WSJ, i won't be at all surprised if the "news" comes out that only Iran had the capability...

I'm not sure LN

So, I looked up Richard Spertzel name and he is a member of UNSCOM, a UN Special Commission member. So that puts him on the doubt list just for starters.

And as I'm writing this post Spertzel is being snippet interviewed by CNN, where he claims that "even though Ivins had access to a heptlizer (sp?) to transfer wet anthrax to dry, that is not a smoking gun", because another machine is also needed for the transformation which Ivins didn't have access. You might want to go to CNN and see if they have the video of today's Blitzer's Situation Room that will show the interview.

I need a program, just can't make out who the players are without a program ... on second thought, I guess that's our job.

imho, the White House and Cheney are where they need to look

the complete silence of the MSM on bringing up the fact that we still have no answers from them as to why their staff was put on Cipro on 9/11 is the dog that didn't bark. The corporate media are complicit in this coverup and frameup, just like ABCIA and their Iraq link lie

I agree with everything you are saying ...

It's hard to document when the principals nod their head while looking out the window in a high profile meeting with the second tier organizers. The evidence will have to surface from the opts members, and the media coverup by ignoring the Zack involvement screams of complicity.

There is legislation being considered by Congress...

a kind of "shield" law that would protect reporters from revealing their confidential sources. But from the above, one can see the downside of such a law. As must be evident to those who have read many of the recent articles on Ivins, the newspaper articles are replete with anonymous sources, likely planted by the government with the media's cooperation to shape the story the way they want it. Another problem with these shield laws is that they may divide journalism into two classes, "professional" journalism and "other." The law may eventually erode constitutional protections to freedom of the press.
