Green Candidate Seeks Democrats' Senate Nomination - wcax.com
Craig Hill of the Green Party says he'll run as a Democrat. Hill embraces a conspiracy theory concerning 9-11, claiming the Bush administration was behind the terrorist attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center. Hill showed a video of what looked like an implosion of the Number Seven building in lower Manhattan after the collapse of the twin towers. The smaller, 500-foot tall building fell flawlessly as if it had been taken down by well-placed explosives. He claims Republicans and Democrats alike have been complicit in a cover up.
Hill is just as critical of the Democrats as he is of Bush. He called Sanders "a creation of the Beltway," claiming that Sanders "sold his soul basically to the Democratic leadership."
Asked why he would run for the nomination of a party he despises, Hill said, "I'm going to go around the state and explain this to the Democrats of Vermont, how rotten their party is. Their party is protecting the Bush administration in every way it can, outside of what I say, it's feeble protests."

I've felt the same rage against my parents and elder authority figures my whole life. This issue in particular would show up their betrayal not only of their children and grandchildren , but also the beleif system of their 'sacred 60's'

I had a copy of Thoreau's 'Civil Disobedience ' in my pocket as i sat waiting to be admitted to the principal's office , in high school ,and I espoused the crazy idea that change had to happen in the individual first . I'm 58. If the shoe fits, I'll wear it... but it doesn't. I was in college for the Vietnam War and Watergate, and I've been fighting this crap since before some of you were a gleam in your daddy's eye. And the forces that have brought us to this point were at work before I was a gleam in my daddy's eye. So find your allies where you will, and keep your verbal powder dry for when it counts.

Sorry Mssr.Jouet , I guess it's quite a big chip I've been carrying around with me , for awhile now .it just hurts to see the majority of your generation , those who fought alongside you in the vietnam/watergate era , to see them grown complacent ,or in some cases complicit in this travesty ,or it's gatekeeping.I suppose it is the affluence of that generation that makes me jealous , as I watch the middle class being irrevocably destroyed as we spin down the spiral of inflation and debt to depression the likes of which hasn't been seen since the 30's.And thats the prefferable scenario in some ways , better than martial law ,ww3 ,or draft.
