No Lies Radio will broadcast the Pacifica radio network live coverage of the groundbreaking lawsuit against the Department of Veterans Affairs on behalf of a large group of wounded veterans. The full trial opens in San Francisco this week. If you heard our recent Winter Soldier coverage, you will find this event equally relevant.

In the first class action lawsuit of its kind, U.S. veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder are suing the VA, alleging a system-wide breakdown in the way the government treats those soldiers.

This special broadcast will include live updates from the San
Francisco federal courthouse, outside the courtroom. Guests on the
program will include:
-- Veterans advocates, including plaintiffs Veterans for Common Sense
and Vets for America
-- Veterans' attorney Gordon Erspamer
-- The Lucey family, currently suing the VA claiming their son Jeffrey
Lucey committed suicide after being turned away from the VA
-- Former U.S. Army Seargent Kristofer Goldsmith, who was dishonorably
discharged after attempting suicide
-- The voices of other veterans and families
