MADRID, Spain -- Britain has refused a Spanish judge's request for permission to question Henry Kissinger during the former U.S. secretary of state's visit to London this week

Judge Baltasar Garzon, who is investigating crimes committed during military dictatorships in South America, asked the British authorities to allow him to question Kissinger, who is due to attend a convention on Wednesday.

A Home Office spokeswoman in London told CNN on Tuesday that the request had been denied.

Joan Garces, a Madrid-based lawyer involved in the investigation of former Chilean leader Gen. Augusto Pinochet, said the British authorities were told by the U.S. State Department that Garzon should send his request to interview Kissinger to Washington.

The U.S state department's response "can only raise questions about what Mr. Kissinger has to hide," Garces said in a statement....................

LONDON, England -- An attempt to have former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger arrested in Britain for alleged war crimes has failed.

British human Rights campaigner Peter Tatchell applied to London's Bow Street Magistrates' Court on Monday for a warrant for the arrest of Kissinger under the Geneva Conventions Act.

Tatchell alleges that Kissinger's direction of the Vietnam War of the 1960s and 1970s amounted to a breach of British laws requiring people of all nationalities to observe the Geneva Conventions on the conduct of war.

It is the latest legal bid made against Kissinger.

That "Al-Qaeda" was responsible for a long time. And then I saw elected officials in my Government begin to conceal things about the attacks. Then I saw elected officials in my Government fight against people like the family members for a real criminal investigation into the attacks. Then I saw elected officials create an investigation that had limitations no investigation should have had. Then I saw that these elected officials stacked the deck within the 9/11 Commission in their favor. I saw that these very same elected officials wanted to do things for years that wouldn't have been possible without an event like 9/11, and I saw that they knew this. I saw that after 9/11, they did exactly what they wanted to do in the years prior. I saw and continue to see that the attacks themselves are being used to do things that are detrimental to everyone in this country, and everyone on this planet. When you take into account that those in power are capable of such atrocious things in this world. Things beyond the scope of 9/11 like the deaths of over 1,000,000 Iraqis, you begin to understand that they would have been more than capable of something like the 9/11 attacks. When the things our Government is concealing and lying about point in that direction, you can come to only one conclusion. That elements within our Government may have been complicit in the attacks, and have earned the title of suspects for the crimes of 9/11. From their actions before, during, and after the attacks. Because of that, we need a new investigation. I know you will come up with every excuse in the book as to why we shouldn't have a new investigation, but I suggest you take a moment to ask yourself this question. If your closest loved one was murdered, would you accept an investigation like the ones the 9/11 family members, and the people of the world already had to endure for the 9/11 attacks, or would you want a real one?

2. that any 'majority' of folks actually look at both sides of any argument and/or that they actually do look at both sides of *this* argument. All psychological theory and data strongly suggest otherwise.
3. And please support the contention that they "disagree" after actually having looked at both sides of the argument....
4. you assert that the 'theories' are "outrageous". This is just your bias. But if you are to support it, you must define what you regard as outrageous and demonstrate convincingly why theories presented on this site meet those criteria.
