A Penchant For Ignorance

We have often seen Dick Cheney described as "a vice president with a penchant for secrecy." PBS Frontline just aired a special report entitled, "Cheney's Law" which said that "from the beginning, the Vice President set the style, secrecy. Vice President Cheney is an extremely secretive public official. He himself doesn't write things down, doesn't use email, because he doesn't want to even raise the possibility that his actions could someday be exposed which could constrain what he wants to do now."

One thing I noticed, and was EXTREMELY disappointed about regarding the PBS "special report" was how they almost completely skipped over 9/11. They essentially said, "something happened they could not have imagined", and moved on. This has been the trend of MANY "special reports" over the years, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised or disappointed.

This "trend" is not just exclusive to "special reports", but is also practiced by many people, and many organizations that supposedly stand for everything Cheney & Co. do not.

For whatever reason, the very event that created the "Post 9/11 World" is COMPLETELY off limits.

I have a very simple question.

Why does Dick Cheney's "penchant for secrecy" apply to everything EXCEPT 9/11?

My exact sentiments

Jon:

I had the exact same reaction when I saw that program. They dramatically announce, "and then came an event that no one could have imagined". And I'm thinking, even if you don't want to pursue the angle of whether they played a role in 9/11 happening, there's clear evidence and testimony that it WAS something that could have been imagined. It's one thing if Condi wants to stick with that line. But for Frontline, in the midst of a report showing how Cheney had plans to restore the unitary Executive for 30 years, to use that frame for their own narrator is bizzare.

Off button

I caught that too and pushed the off button. Frontline isn't worth watching anymore- who could imagine such a development?

Its off limits because they know it was

a botched false flag attack, done very poorly with tons of loose ends and lots of evidence proving it was clearly US Government sponsored Terrorism on its own people and without any question whatsoever the mainstream Media was and is 100% complicit in the crime and the cover up.
They refuse to talk about it because they are just as guilty as the fascist lunatics that planned and executed it.

Exactly Jon.

"They essentially said, "something happened they could not have imagined", and moved on. This has been the trend of MANY "special reports" over the years, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised or disappointed."

And this is exactly why Dick Cheney and his kind can get away with their crimes. We are, for the most part, as a whole, too stupid to confront them.

Shame on all these fake activists and patriots who will not "go there". That will be our downfall if we don't succeed.

Why does Dick Cheney's "penchant for secrecy" apply to everythin

Why does Dick Cheney's "penchant for secrecy" apply to everything EXCEPT 9/11?

I think many intelligent people (not yet aware) who watched Cheney's Law asked themselves the same question.

Some who did not ask it consciously have THE QUESTION rolling around in their subconscious.

As far a grasping the UGLY 9/11 TRUTH, the next step is a step and not a leap.

Cheney's Law brought people to THE QUESTION. That is good. The censors would not have allowed the program to air otherwise.
