Here’s a breakdown of the History Channel hit piece in a nutshell. Boy was this ever a highly unprofessional, condescending, biased work of ad hominem propaganda. Conspiracy theorists were derided throughout the program as being ignorant, mean and kooky with no personal lives. On the other hand, the Popular Mechanics editors were given the last word on each and every subject along with the undeserving title of “expert”. To the best of my knowledge, not one of the pencil pushing staff members have any credentials that are relevant to any aspect of 9/11 truth. Of course it was the conspiracy theorists that were accused of not having anyone of the valid expertise necessary for stating their assertions logically. They do this by completely ignoring the very existence and works of groups like architects and engineers for 9/11 and Pilots for 9/11 truth. Also just as expected, the History Channel failed to disclose the Chertoff connection and other major conflicts of interests that have clearly drastically compromised the research and conclusions of their so-called “experts”. It was disingenuous and deceptive from the very start. It only got worse.

They made the claim that the fires did not have to melt the steel in order for the buildings to have collapsed. They even admit that the fires did not burn hot enough to melt the steel. What they completely ignored is the undeniable fact that steel was observed and analyzed as having been melted by firefighters and experts alike. So we’re left wondering how exactly it was that steel was found in a molten state if as they had clearly stated themselves, it couldn’t have happened in the first place? The NY Times referred to this phenomenon as being “perhaps the deepest mystery uncovered” and yet just like NIST, the History Channel and Popular Mechanics simply chose to ignore it.

They decided to only show the 90-foot hole in the Pentagon that occurred twenty minutes after the initial impact of the plane rather than showing us the most important photo of the much smaller hole that was only roughly sixteen feet wide immediately after impact. Another very convenient omission of crucial evidence.

Here's one of the most egregious lies that I noticed. HC mentioned the comments of FDNY Chief of Safety Albert Turi about reports that he had recieved that day. NBC reporter Pat Dawson claimed that what Turi actually said was that he had heard explosions, not bombs. But that was a total lie according to Dawson’s own account (listen below), “reports of a secondary device, that is another ‘bomb’ going off”.

A few key points ignored by the hit piece.

No mention of the multiple news reports that reported building seven as having collapse before it ever did.

No mention of Pakistan’s ISI Chief (the alleged “money man” behind 9/11) meeting in Washington the very morning of 9/11.

These are just a few points off the top of my head. I’ll have more to add as my memory becomes refreshed. There was just so much that was either ignored, misconstrued or outright false in this piece.
