Senate candidate calls for Bush’s arrest

9/11 truth senatorial candidate Laurie Dobson was my guest on Dynamic Duo last Friday. She's getting all kinds of media coverage, mainstream and otherwise, for her efforts to get the Kennebunkport constabulary to bust Bush. Go, Laurie! Senate candidate calls for Bush’s arrest

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine -- (Bush family summer mansion)

Calling President George Bush "the worst president in the history of the United States," Independent U.S. Senate candidate Laurie Dobson stood on the steps of the town hall Tuesday and called upon the town to indict Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney as war criminals.

Saying that both had "made killing fields of many countries," Dobson urged town leaders to issue a warrant for their arrests.

"There is compelling, undeniable, irrefutable evidence that crimes are going on," she said.

Dobson filed a copy of her indictment... and later read it aloud for gathered media members -- overlooking Walker’s Point (as in George Walker Bush) -- the summer home of the President’s parents.

The central focus of Laurie Dobson’s campaign has been calling for an end to the war in Iraq and the impeachment of both Bush and Cheney. If impeachment doesn’t happen, though, she wants both to be indicted as war criminals and for "crimes against our Constitution."

As for the indictment, Dobson said she was following in the footsteps of Brattleboro, Vt., who have adopted an indictment resolution in that town.

Things weren’t looking quite as simple in Kennebunkport. "Under Maine law, towns have no power to indict," Mead said. (town official)

...Dobson called upon the police to arrest both Bush and Cheney when they come to town...

For her part, Dobson urged residents of the town she calls the "home of my heart" (Kennebunkport, Walker's Point) to refuse to allow "barbaric individuals who mistreat people" to have any right to come within town lines.

Busting Bush & Co. in New England

-snip-

...It might be a challenge for the local constabulary, given the gaggle of stone-faced, ear-wired, Secret Service agents in their dark sunshades who encircle and protect the president and his regent whenever the two suspects travel out of the secure confines of the White House and Executive Office Building in Washington, but town constables are a dedicated lot, and I’m sure they’d do their best to get through and make the bust.

It’s a fair bet Bush and Cheney will keep Marlboro and Brattleboro off their travel itineraries, even after they’ve left office.

Harder, at least for the president, would be Kennebunkport, ME, where the Bush family summer compound is located. There, Laurie Dobson, Kennebunkport resident and an independent candidate for the Maine US Senate seat currently held by Republican Susan M. Collins, has filed a similar resolution...
