When it seems impossible to discover additional shady military exercises occurring Sept. 11, 2001, there comes along yet another investigator uncovering secret documents pointing to unprecedented military actions happening the same day.

National Security Archive senior fellow Jeffrey T. Richelson is reporting in his new book, "Defusing Armageddon: Inside NEST, America's Secret Nuclear Bomb Squad," that the U.S. nuclear bomb squad, known as the Nuclear Emergency Search Team, was out of the country on its first foreign deployment since 1998, at a British air base in the Cotswolds, on Sept. 11 as part of Operation Jackal Cave.

According to the book, the exercise involved more than 500 personnel, 62 aircraft, 420 short tons of cargo, the CIA and a special operations force that would seize a mock nuclear device that the NEST squad would disable.

As I watched the so-called "experts" in the History Channel hit piece "9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction," it began to dawn on me as to what it takes to make some of the "experts" truly an expert in the field of 9/11 studies.

I decided to look into one of the "experts," Davin Coburn of Popular Mechanics, and I found out that his expertise on 9/11 came from writing high school sports stories at a newspaper in Pennsylvania a little more than three years ago.

What was Karl Rove doing when he learned about the attack on the World Trade Center?

Here is a short video from a speech Rove gave at the Lancaster County Republican Party's 150th anniversary dinner in Lancaster, Pa. in May of 2006.

According to his recollection Rove learned about the attack at 8:48 a.m. from one of his advisors.

He then goes on to say a mobile command center was installed in an adjacent classroom where Bush was reading "My Pet Goat."

An interesting tidbit into what was going on that morning. I'm not sure if it's believable, but at least Rove puts his actions on the record.

Two local 9/11 Truth activists from Pennsylvania passed out 100 DVD's from the 911 Truth DVD Project, http://911dvdproject.com/, and hundreds of fliers pertaining to the unanswered questions of 9/11.

They spoke logically to the anti-war demonstrators, including some skeptics, about different aspects of the Truth Movement.
They also handed out 9/11 DVD's to Congressman Dennis Kucinich and Oscar-winning actor Tim Robbins.

Congressman Jerrold Nadler, representative of Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn, talks about Congress' action to investigate Bush about the war in Iraq but no more investigations about 9/11.

I asked him if there's any movement to answer the unanswered questions about 9/11 and he basically says 9/11 is a dead issue.

It's funny that 9/11 is a dead issue for Nadler because you look at his website, http://www.house.gov/nadler/, and it's loaded with investigations into the air quality at ground zero.

Why not ask some other questions?
