Debra Medina
ABC Nightline Monday night broadcast of Treason in America
Unbalanced coverage of this past weekend’s 'Treason in America' conference in Valley Forge. Note the specific placement of pejorative keywords to condition the viewer. Many clues are given as to techniques used to marginalize open discussion of the subject.
Definitely a huge step forward in the right direction. By engaging the mainstream media with factually clear, rationale dialogue when the opportunities arise, we win the hearts and minds of more critically thinking Americans every day, all of whom have the potential to stand for the Justice and Accountability due us all.

One day after Republican candidate for governor Debra Medina’s insurgent campaign hit a speed bump, she’s striking back. After comments on Glenn Beck’s radio show Thursday that seemed to support 9/11 conspiracy theories, she says she was set up by her opponents.

Corporate Media Smears Medina For Expressing View Shared By Majority Of Americans

The attack dog corporate media, in cahoots with loathsome phony neo-con crybaby Glenn Beck, are once again attempting to manufacture reality by smearing Debra Medina for expressing a view shared by the vast majority of Americans in an effort to purge her from the Texas gubernatorial race.
Fox News blowhard Glenn Beck attempted to set up Medina on his radio show yesterday by asking her if she believed the U.S. government was involved in 9/11.
“I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard,” Medina said. “There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all the evidence there, so I have not taken a position on that.”

Psst - Let's Talk about Debra Medina

Please visit the original online article to view the video Debra Medina addresses "Truther" Issue February 11, 2010.
Debra Medina didn't answer a question about 911 in a typical, I'm an American by Gawd soundbite and BAM! Her opponents and talking heads went berserk with faux outrage. Her campaign is over!, they cried. She's toast!, they bellowed. She's a loony toon Ron Paul-ite!, they typed. Her character is flawed!, they spoke. Why, she thinks that the gubmint killed 3,000 Americans!, they commented. The truth is that Debra Medina did make a mistake in the way she answered a question from Glenn Beck. But the whole truth is that a mistake in answering was all it was. Debra Medina isn't a kook, a nut, a fruitcake, a loon, an anti-Semite (yeah, one local blogger, an "intellectual", actually raised that one) - she's none of those. She is, however, a fairly inexperienced politician that tends to over-think questions and does allow those surrounding her to influence her thought processes.
Debra Medina, Texas Republican Gubernatorial Candidate, Questions 9/11 and then Backs Off Under Pressure
We have all seen it before. We have seen it with the two "Vans" - Van Romero and Van Jones. After openly questioning the official story, they then "recant."
This story is currently on the front page of Google News with many outlets covering it.
In a nutshell: Debra Medina has apparently questioned 9/11 before, and Glenn Beck knew about it. He confronted Medina about it on his radio show.

Glenn Beck interviews/attacks Debra Medina/911 Truth movement: Candidate Medina fails to take a firm stand---or even make her position crystal clear--- on 911 Truthers. In a major failure to explain herself, she leaves Mr. Beck and his staff laughing as he brushes her off the phone line. Alex Jones, one of the supporters of candidate Medina, must be disappointed that Debra Medina---whom is normally a strong & vocal individual--- so weakly stood up against Mr. Beck on the 911 Truth issue. Maybe it's time for Mr. Jones to challenge Mr. Beck to a one-on-one debate.

Perry dismisses 9/11 suggestion by GOP rival
02/11/2010
Associated Press
Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison are dismissing a suggestion from a Republican gubernatorial primary rival that the U.S. government was involved in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Appearing on the Glenn Beck Show, Debra Medina said there were "some very good arguments" that the U.S. was involved in bringing down the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
Medina, Perry and Hutchison are battling for the GOP nomination. Perry said Medina's remarks Thursday "were an insult to the thousands of Americans who lost loved ones." He countered that anyone "should be ashamed" for suggesting involvement by former President George W. Bush's administration. Bush was Perry's predecessor as Texas governor.
Hutchison stressed that it was "al-Qaida terrorists who declared war on America. To suggest otherwise is an affront to the men and women who are sacrificing their lives to root out the terrorists in Afghanistan and around the globe."
