On the Friday before the sixth anniversary of 9/11, Osama bin Laden appeared in a new video, his first since prior to the U.S. presidential elections in 2004. In analyzing the video, Neal Krawetz of Hactor Factor, an expert on digital image forensics, said in his latest blogs that the video contained many visual and audio splices, and that all of the modifications were of very low quality.

Most striking is bin Laden's beard, which has been gray in recent images. For this video it is black. "As far as my tools can detect, there has been no image manipulation of the bin Laden portion of the image beyond contrast adjustment. His beard really does appear to be that color." There is a feature documentary on the way from Australia that is looking really good so far. From what I've seen it features one of the most comprehensive roundups of informed 9/11 skeptics and US foreign policy critics that I have seen in one original production.

Some of the names involved in SHADOWPLAY are Ian Woods, Barrie Zwicker, Webster Tarpley, William Rodriguez, Nafeez Ahmed, Michel Chossudovsky, General Ivashov, Thierry Meyssan, Scott Ritter, Andreas Von Buelow, Ralph Schoenman, Annie Machon, and others. Most of these people offer their comments in interviews, but some have been involved at different levels of production and consultation.

There should be a preview up on the web in the near future, and I'll blog it ASAP!

Hannity & Colmes Covers Sheen & 9/11 Truth - prisonplanet.com

Fox News' Hannity & Colmes delivers yet another hit piece on the 9/11 truth movement, this time denouncing Charlie Sheen, who is set to narrate Loose Change in association with billionaire Mark Cuban. Notice how they attack him on a personal level and then talk about the fact that they attacked him on a personal level, without actually discussing any of the issues he raises!

To be fair, Colmes presents a balanced counter-argument and mentions the fact that Alex Jones is a conservative, so this isn't a left/right issue.

A video has just surfaced which partially corroborates William Rodriguez's testimony. In it (the second interview in the video below), a worker states that there was an explosion in the basement of one of the Twin Towers, and that he saw a guy with his "skin hanging off".

While the gentleman being interviewed does not give a timeframe for the events he witnessed -- and the most stunning part of Rodriguez's testimony is that the sub-basement explosion occurred before the plane hit -- this is a step forward.

If anyone knows who the gentleman is, please immediately interview him on video to get clarification of when he witnessed the events. Also, see this interview which also partially confirms Rodriguez's testimony and this scientific paper regarding seismic evidence.

CW11 New York ran a 7 minute spot on 9/11 'conspiracy theories' last night on their 10 o'clock news. While the clip is somewhat focused around Gary Welz, a college professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Fordham and a member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice, it merely uses him as a context for which to cover the larger subject of 9/11 conspiracy theories. The spot begins with X-Files music and quickly runs through a gamut of conspiracy theories from JFK, to Marilyn Monroe and Princess Di's murders, to Tupac, Elvis, and even Ken Lay still being alive. The spot labels all of these (and 9/11 conspiracy theories) as 'urban legends' and even features David Dunbar (author of 'Debunking 9/11 Myths') mentioning how such skepticism dishonors the dead.

Other things worth noting from the video are Gery Welz's comments on his experience on the morning of 9/11 (he saw the 2nd plane fly overhead into the south tower with a group of friends), bringing up how the EPA lied about the air quality around ground zero, the polls which support widespread skepticism, a brief mention of Loose Change and the missile at the Pentagon theory, the debunked 'plume' footage retracted from 9/11: In Plane Site, a reference to Dr. Griffin's book 'Christian Faith and the Truth Behind 9/11' (although no mention of Dr. Griffin by name), and the claims of Flight 93's plume photo being fake.

According to CW11 New York's website they are "seen in over 10 million homes through over-the-air and satellite distribution". You can stream this video via their webpage for their Fact Finders segments.
