Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff says he has a “gut feeling” that a new 9/11 is on the way. (4)

Kevin Barrett sent an email attaching the following Moroccon newspaper story, and saying:

"Note that this article uses the present tense--Waleed LIVES in Morocco. I have made contact with journalists here who are working on the Waleed story, so whether or not I find him during my one remaining week here, the wheels are turning."

Kevin translated the following story from the original French language version in the Maroc-Hebdo International newspaper:

For many Americans, 9/11 is far from being a closed case. More and more voices are raising questions about (who were) the true authors of the attacks. Among them is Kevin Barrett, coordinator of the interfaith movement for the truth about 9/11, the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth (mujca.com). M. Barrett will be in Morocco from May 6th onward. The purpose of his trip is an attempt to find the Saudi Arabian Waleed al-Shehri, who has been presented, along with his brother Wail, as one of five hijackers who took over Flight 11 out of Boston. One problem: shortly afterward the Saudi newspaper as-Sharq al-Awsat reported that the same Waleed al-Shehri was contacting the American and Saudi embassies proclaiming his innocence. At the time, the American authorities said it was a case of mistaken identity. That hypothesis doesn't stand up, since alongside the photo and birthdate, which are indeed those of the Waleed al-Shehri who lives in Morocco, there is also the birthdate and photo of his brother. In short, it is a muddle that casts a monstrous shadow over the events of 9/11, a shadow that Kevin Barrett will try to cast light upon. Will the truth emerge from Morocco?

He's friendly to me and open to hearing 9/11 truth arguments but not fully convinced because despite all the evidence he "just can't believe insiders could be that evil." Barrett sees war as real goal of Sept. 11

Five years and four months after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, former UW-Madison instructor Kevin Barrett insists most Americans have no idea what really happened on that tragic day.

Residents may think they know the gruesome details of some of the most chronicled events in world history, but Barrett said that's only because they've fallen for what he calls the 'big lie' — that Islamic terrorists were behind the attacks.

The truth, he believes, is that Sept. 11 was an 'inside job,' meaning the Bush administration either helped plot the so-called terrorist attacks or intentionally failed to stop them to gain support for going to war in the oil-rich Middle East.

Barrett, who had some state politicians calling for his firing last year after his government conspiracy theories gained national attention while he was teaching a course on Islam at UW-Madison, shared his controversial opinions Friday evening in a speech at Altoona Public Library.

Speaker draws crowd to library

Peter Porgerson first heard about Kevin Barrett and his lectures about the U.S. government being behind the Sept. 11 attacks while listening to a radio talk show.

'He was a guest, and I was quite impressed with his responses,' Porgerson said.

Porgerson, 63, a retired firefighter from West St. Paul, Minn., who now lives in Colfax, said he became interested in the idea that the U.S. government might be involved in the collapse of the World Trade Center.

'I always thought that the way those buildings fell, it wasn't quite right,' Porgerson said.

Barrett, a former instructor at UW-Madison, spoke before an overflowing crowd Friday at the Altoona Public Library. About 120 people crammed into the meeting room, with more people standing in the halls.

'It was a very good presentation,' said Christopher Wood of Eau Claire. 'It was very, very informative. It was nice to see so many people here, and nobody protested.'

Dear Friends of MUJCA:

The Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth has a vision for
our future. We want a sustainable world of peace and justice through
truth—not a future of war, fascism, and environmental devastation.
Amazingly, we are succeeding.

Just a few years ago, the 9/11 truth movement was stalled, the Iraq war
and the Constitution-shredding Patriot Act enjoyed broad public
support, and most people of faith just didn’t get it. Then a miracle
happened. In April 2005, MUJCA brought 9/11 truth icon David Griffin to
the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Despite months of hard promotional
work, we thought we’d be lucky to get fifty people to attend. Suddenly,
just a week before the event, C-Span announced they would be
broadcasting Dr. Griffin’s talk on national television, and local media
picked up the story. When I walked into the largest lecture hall on the
U.W.-Madison campus and saw it jam-packed with over 450 people and
C-Span cameras, I knew that truth and justice were on the march.

In 2006, MUJCA joined with 911truth.org, the oldest and largest 911
activist group, to sponsor the biggest and best 911 activist conference
to date, 9/11 Revealing The Truth / Reclaiming Our Future. Breakthrough
media coverage of that conference, and the LA Scholars’ conference that
followed, propelled 9/11 truth into popular consciousness worldwide. In
the wake of these successes, I became the target of a vilification
campaign by truth-phobic politicians and pundits like Steve Nass, Sean
Hannity and Bill O’Reilly. That campaign backfired, giving 9/11
skeptics even more publicity and helping turn public opinion against
the war and in favor of 9/11 truth. Today, a clear majority of
Americans opposes the war, and only 16% believe the US government is
telling the truth about 9/11. Polls suggest that religious people, in
particular, are waking up fast. In the five-and-one-half years that
have passed since that day of infamy, we have never been in a better
position to take back our future than we are today.
