Rosie O'Donnell has triggered a firestorm after spreading yet another theory about 9/11.

Rosie is claiming that World Trade Center 7 was deliberately demolished.

On Thursday's "The View," Rosie said, "It defies physics for the WTC 7, which collapsed in on itself -it's impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved."

Rosie issued a challenge to "Look at the films," and "get a demolition expert."

What Rosie and other conspiracy theorists don't say is that building 7, since rebuilt, suffered a 10-story gash from huge columns which fell from the twin towers. It was also weakened byfires that burned for 10 hours.

James Meigs, editor in chief of "Popular Mechanics," led a team of experts who wrote a book debunking 9/11 conspiracy theories.

John Gibson and Michelle Malkin Whip Up Frenzy Over Rosie O'Donnell and ABC

Bill O'Reilly started a campaign last night to have Rosie O'Donnell fired from The View, ABC, for expressing her opinions on Iran and 9/11. This morning at 6 AM, Donald Trump was already quoting O'Reilly almost verbatim on The Imus Show demanding that ABC fire O'Donnell. So of course, John Gibson continued the fire Rosie campaign today with noxious Michelle Malkin who added Barbara Walters to the FOX News list of the currently unclean who must be punished. 3/30/07

Malkin thought that ABC should be held accountable for O'Donnell's comments but claimed there were too many like minded people in ABC management to do anything about Rosie O'Donnell. Gibson speculated that ABC wants O'Donnell to say these things.

Another indication of media blackout on 9/11 issues:

Media Matters has failed to report on any of the recent "conservative" media's feeding frenzy on Rosie O'Donnell and their vitriolic attacks on her First Amendment rights, which include calling for her dismissal and execution. With any other topic, Media Matters would have sent out press releases, blogged, and posted the information on their front page. They routinely monitor all Fox broadcasts and other Administration stenographic media personalities, calling them on misinformation, unprofessional conduct, and the like. According to their webpage:

With deepest respect, admiration, and sympathy, I am writing to you today. Each word is being carefully selected so as not to disrespect you, or your loved ones. I've thought long and hard about what I'm about to say, and I see no other alternative.

Before I begin, I would like to say a few words. I'm sorry. I'm sorry because deep down I know I had something to do with the loss of your loved one(s). Me, and every other American that has sat idly by for so many years, allowing the system that brought about the 9/11 attacks, flourish in Washington D.C., and beyond. By not caring about the vote, by being more concerned with that new television show, that new car, that new computer, that new mall, that new amusement park, that new movie, that new music sensation, that new celebrity, and so on, we have neglected, and have forgotten what it means to be a citizen in this country. As a result, ultimately, 2,973+ people were murdered on September 11th, 2001.

UPDATE: It turns out that the guy calling for Rosie's death is the guy who played Danny Partridge on the Partridge Family tv show as a boy actor. Now there's a real expert on the issues involved in analyzing 9/11.

While CNN's story about Giuliani doesn't get into most of the real issues regarding 9/11, including his possible foreknowledge of or role in the attacks, it does show that our leaders' actions on and after 9/11 are starting to be questioned and the phony "hero" veneer of our leaders in connection with 9/11 is starting to be challenged.

"Recently, a slew of celebrities have come forward in support of a new 9/11 investigation. Not to be left behind, the Easter Bunny has joined the ranks of the inside-jobbers. He's gone public in a big way, and he wants everyone to know he won't be swayed from this new position. Bill O'Reilly may swear that he'll be ruined, but E.B. thinks the risk is worth it. One of the biggest challenges of the 9/11 Truth Movement has been to get the basic facts about 9/11 into the mainstream media or general consciousness. People who go to see documentaries are vastly fewer in number than those who seek entertainment and distraction. Since I became an activist, only after seeing a film which disturbed me (JFK) and doing some research on the CIA, I have always thought that films are one of the best tools to raise awareness, and we have continually tried to produce better and better films- mainly documentaries. With 911: Dust and Deceit at the World Trade Center, Penny Little has made a moving, engrossing indictment of how the federal government failed New York City residents, and the rescue workers and volunteers near the Twin Towers, in the days following 9/11 and continue to do so today.

The documentary focuses on the dust from the twin towers. As if it was not enough that terrorists destroyed those famous buildings, the Environmental Protection Agency itself fell down on the job, repeatedly asserting that inhalation of the dust would not hurt anyone.

Through interviews, Little proves that information to be wrong as person after person speaks on camera of health problems following exposure to contaminants that can’t be explained in any other way — a singer who can no longer sing, a janitor who can no longer climb as many stairs, to name the two most memorable to me.

Breaking my silence on 9/11 Truth

Initially I preferred to keep silent about the 9/11 Truth Movement, to not be diverted from my issue. I've been associated with the China Support Network, being its founder, and in recent years, I give my speeches in that vein exclusively. That means, I have a cause and I don't need a spare cause, nor a soapbox, nor a reason to be known in the public discourse, where I've contributed since 1980. My 9/11 article is written, not oral; in any public appearance, I remain on the China issue. The article is volunteered and not sponsored; I simply think it fair to have the question, "What happened on 9/11?", and to have the indicated investigation that is genuine and impartial, rather than a whitewash. Read on, to where I suggest a role for Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly.

Recently, Rosie O'Donnell raised the issue of 9/11 Truth, questioning how one or more of the buildings fell in New York City on September 11, 2001. Also, actor Charlie Sheen has come out with his own questions and concerns about what happened that day, and we've learned that he will narrate an updated version of Loose Change, a documentary that questions the official story of 9/11. This led to mentions on television by Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, top conservative commentators who seem to have replaced George Will and Bob Novak.
