The US Social Forum 2007 held in Atlanta, GA last weekend has approved a resolution by 911 TRUTH calling for a new investigation into 911, and a resolution by 911 TRUTH and impeachment groups calling for the impeachment of both Bush and Cheney.

The resolutions were enthusiastically approved with resounding applause by a crowded auditorium with thousands in attendance.

Thanks to Atlanta911truth.org, dc911truth.org, 911truth.org, and especially 911TruthLA.net for some great work here!

The Atlanta911truth.org group has only been around since February, and allready is contributing
great things to the 911 truth movement!

Also remember to visit 911truthsquads.org and form your own truth squads, it's fun and is really great for the movement to speak truth to power.

Jackson: Put impeachment back on table

WASHINGTON (AP) - Congressman Jesse Jackson Junior wants his fellow Democrats to reconsider impeaching President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

The Illinois Democrat today reacted to Bush's decision yesterday to commute the sentence of former vice presidential aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

Bush issued a statement saying he respected the jury's verdict but had concluded that Libby's 30-month prison sentence was "excessive."

Jackson contends Bush has subverted the legal process, and he says the president's decision goes against the will of the American people.

Jackson notes that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had withdrawn the notion of impeachment proceedings against either Bush or Cheney. But he says that needs to be reconsidered.

Libby was convicted of lying under oath in a CIA leak case.

Note: This refers to Jesse Jackson, Jr., The Illinois congressman, and not his better known father. I thought I'd point this out in case its the latter you're not much of a fan of.
