Congresswoman Maxine Waters Says "No" to War with Iran and "Yes" to Paying Attention to Brzenzski's Warning
After Congresswoman Maxine Waters delivered a fiery speech at the impeachment rally this 4th of July in Los Angeles (which, with much thanks due to Peter Thottam of www.911truthla.net and www.bcimpeach.com, was a great success), I followed up with her and attempted to get her to go deeper on the way to her car. I asked her to respond to Zbigniew Brzenzski's warning to Congress in February that war with Iran would be provoked through an attack in the Middle East or in the U.S. blamed on Iran, subsequently hurtling the U.S. into a "defensive" attack. With the anniversary of the London 7/7 bombings coming up this weekend, I also asked her to go on record as a public official who decries the use of false-flag terror events such as 9-11, 3-11 and 7-7 as a horrific form of statecraft. Although she spun away from directly answering these questions, she spoke firmly about pursuing diplomacy with Iran and the consequences of starting something that would quickly spin out of control. I followed up as we got to her car by asking her, "And Brzenzski, we need to pay attention to his warning right?" and she said "Yes we do." Then I handed her the WeAreC.H.A.N.G.E. pamphlet.
So we are going to hold you to that Congresswoman Waters, and we are going to follow up on whether you do your important homework of studying the small but powerful pamphlet on why we should doubt the official 9-11 conspiracy theory from www.wearechange.org. Lynn Pentz from the LA Citizens' Grand Jury has asked you why you don't speak about 9-11 Truth heading on 6 years after the event, and you say you don't know enough. Well, for a woman of your intelligence and courage, that just will not do at this crucial and dire time. We need to you to dig deeper on these fronts. You were willing to confront the evidence pointing to the connection between the CIA and the cocaine trade in South Central LA. You have been willing to be one of the first few congresspersons to sign onto the Kucinich Impeachment bill.
Now it is time for you to step up, do your homework around the workings of false-flag terrorism, and lead the charge in firing an arrow of Truth at this administration's Achille's Heal, the highly treasonous cloud of facts surrounding 9-11-01. If you rise to the occasion, you will help bring justice to the memory of the victims of the past, stop there from being more victims in the near future, and catalyze the opening of a space of hope and possibility for generations to come. Please read your pamphlet and follow it up with a bit of your own research.
P.S. I apologize for flubbing the video and mistakenly not capturing the entire question and response. But the public record is there that Congresswoman Waters, unlike most of her party mates running for President, has said yes to impeaching this administration, no to war with Iran and yes to paying attention to Brzenski's false-flag terror event warning. And she has major work to do around 9-11 Truth to which we will hold her.

"Diplomacy"
There's a deep problem with Congresswoman Waters insisting that we need to pursue "diplomacy" with Iran. This phrasing implies and assumes that Iran is causing a problem that needs to be resolved. In other words, "diplomacy" is code for the idea that Iran is not privileged to pursue certain technologies, because Israel doesn't want them to.
Unfortunately, Iran needs nuclear weapons to protect itself from Israel, and this is exactly what Israel needs a preemptive strike to prevent. Ms. Waters is perfectly on board with the prejudice that Iran cannot be allowed to attain any such technology that would allow it to achieve self-reliance. Although she would prefer to do it with incentives (read, "bribes") rather than overt threats, her agenda, along with every other AIPAC-vetted politician's, is to keep Iran and all other oil-rich nations in a posture of subjugation.
I agree in many ways
Although I don't think Iran building a nuclear weapon is really going to make anyone safer in the entire region, the US and Israel are definitely not in a place to be telling other countries to be honoring their word around nuclear weapons treaties, being that the US is in deep violation around its commitments to the Non-proliferation treaty and Israel is in a nether-world where they aren't part of the international agreements but wont really come out and say what they have. What we need to do is help led the way towards a nucelar-weapon free middle east, meaning putting the pressure on Israel to give up its weapons. But, that is going to take 9-11 Truth in this country, and a serious people's movvement in Israel in order to shake up and transform consciousness enough to begin actually speaking seriously about that.
As for Ms. Waters, I dont think she wants to stop Iran from developing nuclear power as is their right. Iran is in a hard space, which is why our work in the 9-11 Truth movement in the US is so crucial to this whole thing. Iran is still committed to the non-proliferation treaty, which I think is feasible if we Americans get our act together. Before the treaty, we were on our way to upwards of 50 countries probably developing a nuclear weapon. The more nukes, the more possibilities for a mishap or for a conflagration. Diplomacy, although many times a cloaked word, is also just about talking with respect to other peoples. We should be pursuing diplomacy with all countries of the wordl at all times, whether or not there is a crisis. I dont know of Waters relationship to AIPAC, do you? She definitely needs a little more shaking up around US-Israeli imperialism and 9-11 Truth.

But she did vote "Present" (read, "spineless") during the House's vote to "Support Israel" last summer while the IDF slaughtered countless Beirutians (As did that salamander Kucinich).

I am a little apprehensive about Zbigniew
His "Grand Chessboard" almost serves as the how-to manual for global domination. I will admit that I haven't read his book. He seems to favor some military intervention and imperialism over others. Fine - I will give him the support that we should fear the rise of an Asian military bloc or even a European one. But as a pacifist, where is the appeal to diplomacy? I feel like people like Zbig only serve administrations by providing cincomplete justifications for military actions across the globe.
Having read Lutz Kleveman's "The New Great Game," it just seems that every military actions (at least from the Middle East to the former Soviet countires to the south of Russia) were motivated purely by money and the need to control resources.
Isn't he also a member (or used to be a member) of the CFR?

No, I definitely have very little respect for the butcher Brzenski. That little speck I have is because he dropped that little gem out there. He represents a split in the oligarchs about strategy. He is definitely an imperialist and in The Grand Chessboard he basically calls for the importance of a 9-11 event. He appeals to the Schmidttian/Straussian enemy image as the only thing that could rouse a democratic, free and diverse society like ours to imperial mobilization. Just to refer to the world as a grand chessboard is revolting in my opinion. He's basically speaking of billions of lives as collateral damage when pieces are moved around the board by the big players. His use of a chess analogy shhows that he is still stuck in the cold war, eyeing Russia as his real nemesis in a world with two main players.
I imagine his thinking was, "9-11 was good, but the War in Iraq is defeating American Imperial credibility to really mold the world and seize control of the resources." I see the split in the American ruling class as between the hard, military might neo-con imperialists and the soft, IMF/World Bank neo-lib imperialists. That is why a large group of European elites did not support the war in Iraq (also of course so that the US wouldnt have predominance in the region). I think that many of the European elites were like "we've got such a good thing going with this economic imperialism, why did that cowboy Bush and his American rabble go showing our savagery out in the open?"
But ultimately, my thinking is that US imperialists are to the global evilarchy as Al-Qaeda is to the US imperialists, pawns being played. The end game of all of this is not American predominance, but the gutting and collapse of the US. Turn Zbig's warning against them.

If you think that the CIA has come clean you are out of your mind. I don't believe that they even released the whole story of their terrorist activities against Cuba nor their part in the assassination of JFK.

I gave Maxine some 9/11 Truth dvds
when she spoke in Santa Cruz, CA a few months back. She should be well aware of the issue.
Which DVD's did you give her?
She seemed to me to be more wary and scared of addressing the deep truth than thinking we are kooks. That's just my feeling though. And I imagine with her understanding of CIA black ops around cocaine that she could grasp the veracity of 9-11 Truth in a way that many congress people can't even grok. What do you think is an effective way of following up with her?

Loose Change and/or Terrorstorm. Probably not the best dvds for a first timer or fence-sitter but was just what I had at the time. As for following-up, someone should just ask her if she watched them and see what see thought of them. I would quote Cynthia MckInney, on how she said she likes films by Alex Jones because he presents direct sources for his material (and thus Jones can't be labeled a "conspiracy theorist"), and see if that impresses Maxine at all.
