Is Wesley Clark the key to the military's conscience?

Wes Clark may not be the most popular man around here, but I have a strong hunch that he is central to opening up the US military to 911 awareness. He could be the most sensational whistleblower of all if he chose to tell us more like the story below. I sent it to Alex Jones site after I saw it on Digg , but they didn't print.

Please don't ignore this. We may have only a few days to stop an insane action on the part of the US against Iran. I have been 'led' to this . I can't say how.

YouTube - Wesley Clark calls for complete investigation of 9/11/01

''We never finished the investigation of 911 and whether the administration actually misused the intelligence information it had. The evidence seems pretty clear to me.I've seen that for a long time.''

Gen. Wesley Clark Says Pentagon Had Plan in 2001 to Attack Seven Countries in Five Years

This is an excerpt of Gen. Wesley Clark in a Democracy Now interview with Amy Goodman:
GEN. WESLEY CLARK: I knew why, because I had been through the Pentagon right after 9/11. About ten days after 9/11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in. He said, "Sir, you've got to come in and talk to me a second." I said, "Well, you're too busy." He said, "No, no." He says, "We've made the decision we're going to war with Iraq." This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, "We're going to war with Iraq? Why?" He said, "I don't know." He said, "I guess they don't know what else to do." So I said, "Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?" He said, "No, no." He says, "There's nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq." He said, "I guess it's like we don't know what to do about terrorists, but we've got a good military and we can take down governments." And he said, "I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail."
So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, "Are we still going to war with Iraq?" And he said, "Oh, it's worse than that." He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, "I just got this down from upstairs" -- meaning the Secretary of Defense's office -- "today." And he said, "This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran." I said, "Is it classified?" He said, "Yes, sir." I said, "Well, don't show it to me." And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, "You remember that?" He said, "Sir, I didn't show you that memo! I didn't show it to you!"
AMY GOODMAN: I'm sorry. What did you say his name was?
GEN. WESLEY CLARK: I'm not going to give you his name.
AMY GOODMAN: So, go through the countries again.
GEN. WESLEY CLARK: Well, starting with Iraq, then Syria and Lebanon, then Libya, then Somalia and Sudan, and back to Iran.

"I have been 'led' to this . I can't say how."

What is this supposed to mean? Was it intuition? Was it a well connected intelligence source speaking on terms of anonymity? Was it a wild guess? Was it Saint Mary appearing on burnt toast? The suspense is killing me...

You know, I think in the greater scheme of things, another insane manoeuvre by the Neocons will only accelerate their fall. Public opinion is now vastly different than it was ever before or in the initial years after 9/11, and the rabbit they will have to pull out of their hat to initiate another aggression WILL smell like a rat. Anyway, as far as I can tell, there is no way we are going to bring them down within the next two weeks, so apart from keeping a level head and pushing on, there's not much we can do, or is there?

We can only hope that China and Russia will keep their cool, but I don't think they would be stupid enough to contribute to any escalation at this point.

i saw Wesley Clark on

i saw Wesley Clark on Democracy Now recently defending killing large numbers of innocent civilians as commander of NATO troops. he said he would do it again. conscience? not likely.

So you are willing to

So you are willing to sacrifice someone who might agree and support our calls for a new investigation because he said somethings you believe are immoral?

The key to preventing more wars and civilians deaths is exposing 9/11.

Any top military person will say things that seem callous. But this top military person suggested we reinvestigate 9/11. That's huge.

said something? HE WAS THE

said something? HE WAS THE COMMANDER! HE MADE THE CALL TO DROP THE BOMBS!! he said he would do it again. does that sound like someone with a conscience to you? do you really trhink hes gonna come out hard for 9/11 truth? come on......

I am not assessing his moral character

but assessing his potential to join the calls for a new independent investigation.

no, i agree with that, im

no, i agree with that, im just saying based on his character i dont see it as likely that he will go much further than he already has on this issue. i hope im wrong and he lends his voice to 9/11 truth, war criminal or not his voice obviously carries weight.

i dont think your a fool and

i dont think your a fool and i commend you for sending a letter to him. i was just giving my 2 cents. again, i hope im wrong but based on his past i dont see Clark as having much honor.

I don't know why Clark is

I don't know why Clark is not liked around here. I missed that whole thing. But the mob mentality of this place often means we ignore things or potential avenues. That's precisely why I don't believe in 911 Blogger that much.

Nonetheless, Clark got my favor when he exposed how he was told to link Iraq to 9/11

"I got a call on 9/11. I was on CNN, and I got a call at my home saying, "You got to say this is connected. This is state-sponsored terrorism. This has to be connected to Saddam Hussein." I said, "But--I'm willing to say it but what's your evidence?" And I never got any evidence. And these were people who had--Middle East think tanks and people like this and it was a lot of pressure to connect this and there were a lot of assumptions made. But I never personally saw the evidence and didn't talk to anybody who had the evidence to make that connection.""

My impression of Wesley Clark…

…is that he has moral ideals that he tries to live up to. That truth and justice are amongst those ideals. That he is aware of political reality and the reality of war. And that he is prepared to stand up for what he believes in.

If 9/11 truth is to ever be anything more than a fringe movement, it will need people like Wesley Clark.

Who showed Clarke?

Well, It was somone who was higher than Clarke in the chain and lower than Rumsfeld.

Think that someone could narrow that down?
