Burlington, Vermont - A Call to Action!

A CALL FOR POLITICAL ACTION

On Tuesday, March 6, 2007, the residents of Burlington, Vermont will vote on this ballot question:

"Shall Vermont's Congressional Delegation be advised to demand a new, thorough, and truly independent forensic investigation that fully addresses the many questions surrounding the tragic events of September 11, 2001?"

Obviously, the answer is yes. However, are the people of Burlington aware of the potentially historic nature that this ballot question has?

That's where 9/11 activism comes in.

Here are two key resources that the people of Burlington should be made aware of;

1. Vermont 911truth has an excellent voter's guide on the ballot question here. (Best viewed in Explorer.)

2. South Burlington's RETN broadcast a panel discussing why this ballot question is so important on February 21, 2007. We now have the panel online at video.google;

Part 1: 52 minutes*

Part 2: 49 minutes

Let's make sure the people of Burlington know about these resources, so that they can make an informed decision on March 6.

Upcoming votes locally push for a new 9/11 investigation in Town Meeting Day ballot items in Burlington and Lincoln, Vermont. This program includes knowledgeable panelists on the subject of the events of September 11, 2001as well as participation by studio audience members, viewer calls, and email messages. The goal of this one hour and forty-five minute program is to present more information and debate that can lead people to educated choices. The panel on “The Truth of 9/11: What Now?” includes Kyle Hence, the executive director of “9/11 CitizensWatch,” and writer and executive producer of the documentary “9/11: Press for Truth”; Craig Hill, co-chair of the Vemront Green Party and former candidate for U.S. Senate in 2006; local writer, activist and musician Marc Estrin; and local graphic designer and former Burlington City Council member Doug Dunbebin. Both Estrin and Dunbebin are part of the “Vermonters for a Real 9/11 Investigation” group.

This is an excellent panel that should be viewed by anyone with a dog in this fight. The panelists cover a lot of ground, from JFK to Operation Gladio to our current state of affairs in the post-9/11 era.

Highly recommended viewing.

Big thanks to Scott Campitelli for getting us a DVD at the speed of light, and to the production crew at RETN for a very educational program.

* There are approx. 4 minutes snipped at the 53 minute mark due to a digital glitch.

Oh this just keeps getting better...

Thanks to 911Veritas, we know that #1 is a bloody lie!

1. We're not part of a conspiracy. Nobody told us what to say or do on September 11th. We didn't get told in advance that buildings were going to fall down. We didn't receive press releases or scripts in advance of events happening.

and better...

2. In the chaos and confusion of the day, I'm quite sure we said things which turned out to be untrue or inaccurate - but at the time were based on the best information we had.

Yeah... where'd you get the information? That's the question. Apparently CNN had access to the same "untrue and inaccurate" sources. Coincidence? I think not...

"Me thinks thou dost protest too much..."

3. Our reporter Jane Standley was in New York on the day of the attacks, and like everyone who was there, has the events seared on her mind. I've spoken to her today and unsurprisingly, she doesn't remember minute-by-minute what she said or did - like everybody else that day she was trying to make sense of what she was seeing; what she was being told; and what was being told to her by colleagues in London who were monitoring feeds and wires services.

"unsurprisingly".. .actually, not so much.

Clairvoyant?

'...like everybody else that day she was trying to make sense of what she was seeing.'

And apparently, she just happened to miss that 47-story building just behind her shoulder. Or maybe when she turned and looked, she was suddenly able to see 20 minutes to a half-hour into the future.

oops!

Obviously this was meant for the previous post regarding the BBC... not sure what the hell happened. Oh well, you get the point!

Show "Censoring the truth?" by GRGNXN

My fault!

Hey, my DVD from RETN was flawed in several places, including at the 53 minute mark.

If you watch the Quicktime feed, you are probably on there.

I had to chop 4 minutes out of the video when I made two parts.

I'll add that info to the original post.

Sorry about the confusion.

-r.

(Assuming you were the dude at the 53 minute mark, right before Hence in part 2.)

OK

Sorry to jump to conclusions....But that was me at the 53 minute mark - and I wanted to be at event to counter any LIHOP/negligence spin....

thanks for responding.

And sorry again!

I should have noted it straight away.

Rather pointless

Vermont's Congressional delegation has already announced they will not call for a new investigation no matter how the vote turns out.

Media coverage

Duh....it's the forced media coverage and tool for public debate. This cannot all be on the internet, we need to bitchslap joe six pack as well....

Politicians change their minds.

All the time.

But they must be pushed to it.

activism solution

We dont have to know all the facts or details people in this blogger have to stop being keyboard commandos and start doing more stuff how about every blog someone post has to have activism and a solution to there blog. we have more then enough evidence to smoke these guys we just have to be smarter because they have all the money and power

I hope...

That Les and Luke can work out their differences because I understand New York is going to start a ballot initiative, and I'm sure they could use all the help and cooperation they can get.
